Great Place, I was there 30.Years a Go!! Different Style, Still Swiss Management Charm!! Great Hospitality, Clean,Save and Central Location!! Ma Maison at its Best! For Sure we will Return from the Philippines!! Best wishes from Cebu, Marco Guler.
I stayed at the Ma Maison for about three weeks and found it very reasonable, clean, provided great service and was within stumbling distance from bars and shopping. Once in the hotel complex you could not hear the load and obnoxious noises from the party streets. The staff were very friendly to my visitors and me, providing assistance with transportation and all request. Owner is on site during the day and security is at the hotel all night. I was warmly welcomed as I entered and departed. The hotel is an open air hotel with the restaurant and pool open to fresh air and sunlight. The restaurant served good food and the bar was less expensive that drinking any other place. I enjoyed this staying at the Ma Maison Inn very much and will be returning on a regular schedule.
Back again ( I think this about the tenth time) just for a one night stay on our way to Koh Samet Took advantage of the location to visit a couple of our favourite bars and shops and just chilled out in the pool As I have mentioned in other posts this place always reminds me of country motel back in Oz Learnt this time they have a new owner and the place is looking spick and span A few new faces in the staff and I have to compliment the whole team for their impressive attention to detail
Great location just off Beach Road south Pattaya. Friendly staff. Small decent clean rooms with AC and bathroom. Decent sized pool with deck chairs around, and you can get food and drink from the restaurant to have there. Wifi was annoyingly slow at times.
We always stay here when we go to Pattaya. It reminds me of a typical hotel style motel you find in country towns in Australia. The location is fantastic and only 100 metres to the Ocean and walking distance to everything else.During the day you can have a nice relax beside the pool while having a few cold beers. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful too.The 95bht breakfast is also a good start for the day. Looking forward to celebrating Songkran there again next year
Nice and quiet hotel next to beach road. Room are not that big but clean. If you want to stay far from noisy place in pattaya, u should stay here. After 8 pm nothing happen at Mamaison. We asked for the price in the soi so 999Thb, but seem whe should get 2 night for get that price, so we pa the full price. didnt try food there, but i saw someone in the kitchen so i guess w can get some food there
AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID Where do I start. Owner is an arrogant little French man with zero customer service skills. When visiting Pattaya last May I stumbled across this little hotel with a sign outside saying 999 thb per day and it looked great so asked to see one of the rooms, I was shown the room and in fact it was the room I was checked into. Anyway I knew I was coming back this March so decided I was going to stay there. I booked 10 nights via email whilst I was in Bangkok and the booking was confirmed via email at 1000 thb per night (approximately £20.00) when I arrived I was greeted by the said little French man who came across as friendly. I introduced myself and he said yes Mr Mark, your room is ready. I checked in and to be honest the room was not as I remembered it was very warm and the air con was not working and full of mosquitos and midges as the bathroom window had been left open. Anyway to cut a long story short, after checking in I explained I had no Thai bhat on me and was told no worries pay tomorrow. I thought great so went out for the evening and changed my money up so I had it ready for the next day. Next morning I go to reception to pay my 10 nights and was told it was 15000thb. I said no I had agreed the price of 10000thb with said French man and showed the receptionist the emails which confirmed this. She said owner will be in in 30 mins and speak to him then. So I ordered a breakfast which was pretty rank and waited. Whilst eating, the little arrogant French man tuns up and we have a discussion about the room. He says the price is 1500thb per night and that's it. If I don't like it then leave as he had 2 guest at reception waiting to take my room if I didn't want to pay his hiked up price. I asked if we could negotiate on the price and he just bluntly said pay the money or leave. It was at this point I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with this guy so said I would leave. He rudely said finish your food and check out then and walked off. I continued to eat my breakfast and after 5 minutes I was approached my another guy who said you need to check out now as we have guests waiting for your room. I thought to myself how rude and decided to leave my food and just get out of this nightmarish place. I wish I had read the reviews on here beforehand as I see I'm not the first to have problems with this idiot. Anyway please take my word for it and avoid this place at all costs as he comes across as a nice guy on first meeting him but turns into a complete nightmare once you are checked in. It was a blessing in disguise really as I found a very nice hotel and so much better than this dive for 1000thb and ended up having a pleasant stay in the new hotel.
This place is a dump. Don't book this place online. You need to see what you are getting before you pay. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. The rooms are very small, very worn, and just generally ugly. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you. I definitely would not recommend.
This is a good hotel. small in scope but well organized. the price of the room is a standard breakfast included. if it does not meet your needs, you can always make a choice from the menu. the restaurant has no standard set tables, so your can use on request breakfast, lunch or dinner. The pool can make your use between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. The rooms are well appointed, I made use of a standard room, bathroom with good shower. room is cleaned daily. bedding is 1x a week, this should in my opinion, 2x per week. towels are changed daily.
Hotel is in a quiet street with an average size swimming pool and a great bar and restaurant area. The rooms are spacious and cleaned to a high standard. Food in the restaurant is good quality and reasonably priced. All the staff are friendly and speak good English. Would stay at this hotel again if I return to Pattaya.
