This was by far the nastiest hotel experience I personally have EVER had. The place is disgusting, everything's broken, it smells like mold, the front desk trys their best to scam the customers at every turn. Extra 100 baht if you ask for an extra towel. 1000 baht fee for losing your room key card. (The disposable plastic ones) Shower was a joke, the balcony railing is completely rusted through. This place is straight out of the twilight zone series. It should be demolished and rebuilt.

I stayed at Hotel Selection Pattaya. The most notable point is the locationā€”being so close to Runway Street Food and Soi 6 is definitely a big plus. That said, in my case, despite booking a suite room, I unfortunately encountered an issue where none of the room lights could be turned off. While I appreciate the quick response after I called, I had concerns about the way the situation was handled afterward. The maintenance staff entered the room with a stepladder, opened the inspection panel, and started repair work around midnight. At that point, I would have expected to be offered another room immediately, but instead I had to suggest it myself before being moved to a different room. As a Japanese guest, the language barrier and communication made the situation even more concerning. I understand that equipment problems can happen, but I believe the guest service and hospitality could have been handled better. Although I only stayed one night in a city-view suite, I was disappointed that there was no word of apology or sign of sincerity even at check-out. I sincerely hope to see improvements in guest relations going forward.

Just inbetween Beach road and Second road so very convenient and easy access to other parts of Pattaya. The hotel building itseld is very old and the room is also very old and not well maintained but cheap. I may pick rather newer hotels at second road side next time.

Dirty old mouldy hotel

This hotel has misrepresented itself with photos that show a beautiful modern clean hotel....this is Not the reality. Buitlding Facade is falling off, carpets stained, walls marked and damaged, mould in the rooms and bathrooms, missing wardrobe doors, yellowing sheets, old tatered towels, stained old furniture, thick dust in places the list goes on and on. Unfortunately we had to stay here for 6 days! It was not pleasant at all.

Iā€™m never one to complain, if there is a good point to make I would, but on this occasion, Iā€™m sorry to say I donā€™t have anything positive to say at all , staff on reception were really rude , and no help with anything at all , the rooms were very dusty plus the back of our balcony was a building site and construction going on all day . I will say one thing the rooms were a really good size . We didnā€™t have any hot water at all , I mentioned it at reception and she said leave it to run 5 minutes, we tried different times of the day and nothing made a difference, she said that is how it is !

Fantastic!

I've stayed here a few times before, but this was the best yet. This time I stayed in a corner suite (with sea view) and I was delighted with it. A great view out to sea over the rooftops and two big rooms to relax in. Staff as friendly as ever and many good dips in the swimming pool. Terrific!
