It was like staying in a prison surrounded by the beautiful sights and sounds of Paris which you couldn’t see or hear from the tiny little box of an apartment. The wifi didn’t work, no AC, the beds were uncomfortable and the apartment was dark and dingy. The best part was the location and the horror of the apartment made you want to stay outside as much of the time as possible. I guess that’s the only positive. I strongly recommend not staying here unless you have absolutely no other choice.

Never again
The sofa and rug were disgustingly filthy. I would not let my dog sleep on either.
The apartment has NO view… just the inside courtyard which is absolute horrible, filled with debris.
Roaches and ants were found on multiple occasions. Don’t be fooled by the photos of the listing. I felt ripped off.

You need to stay here.
In the heart of the entertainment district and minutes from the sights. We would stay here every time we visit Paris. Unbelievable value.
I stayed at an apartment in Paris and found the location to be fantastic—just a 12-minute walk to the Louvre and 20 minutes to Notre Dame, plus it's right next to a metro station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the owner responds quickly to any issues. The apartment is clean but quite small, suitable for two but too tight for a family. The building is old and has an unpleasant smell, there's no view, and the narrow spiral staircase without an elevator could be a problem for some

Perfect location but issues with responsiveness & accuracy of property manager.
Great central location walking distance to Les Halles shopping & metro. Also walking distance to great range of restaurants, coffee shops & more. Place is cute & good for two people but would be very crowded for more unless they were children as the second bed is a couch that converts to a bed taking the sitting dining area. I specifically asked for one flight of stairs due to the health of my husband & corresponded at length to confirm this prior to booking. When we arrived it was three flights of winding narrow stairs which my husband had to navigate for our 10 day stay. Apartment was equipped with washing machine/dryer & kitchen facilities. We had problems with the stove & oven & when asking how to make it work were told to Google it. This meant we could not use the oven at all but finally worked out the stove top & washing machine. The toaster was broken & although we asked for it to be replaced it wasn’t. The double bed is old & needs to be replaced as rickety, noisy & hard. In summary the best location you could ask for but the property manager needs to be honest about the stairs when health & mobility was a key concern raised when making the booking.

Over all good stay and centered in the heart of Paris! Very clean.Had a bit of a struggle with checking in and haven’t received deposit back. Submitted time for our departure however 15min before the maid was at the door and waited by the stairs until we left.
Did not put a damper on my trip by any means and I as a great area to have food and drinks at anytime.

Stay away from this stayaway
This was my first time using Vrbo and most definitely my last. Here’s why.
Before I even got to the flat a third-party company asked me to pay an additional safety deposit that wasn’t paid on the Vrbo app. I flagged a scam right away and demanded to know more about it. They proceeded to answer most of my question by e-mail instead of the Vrbo app, which also isn’t right.
The check-in instructions were not very clear, I sent them texts via the Vrbo app and got answers only the following day on email.
I ended up asking a tenant in the building to help me get in, who fortunately was very nice and helped me out.
For the premium price I’ve paid, I was expecting all the necessities like dish soap, hand soap, coffee pods for a machine they advertised in their ads, pair of scissors, laundry pods even more than a roll of toilet paper for 8 days would have been good.
I’ve travelled a lot via the main Vrbo competitor and never saw a flat this poorly equipped. It took me 2 days to troubleshoot the internet on my own. There were no guidelines for the flat about garbage, check-out policies, etc.
I have left the place spotless but then still got charged a random fee for «additional cleaning fees » which I disputed but never got the money back.
It was a terrible experience, one I have decided never to repeat. Stick with what works and protect the consumer. In this case; the Vrbo competition offers better support.

Great location
This is a PERFECT location. The apartment was very clean and check in process very detailed. It is definitely tiny (which I expected) but the bed is awful. The frame is falling apart and the mattress very uncomfortable. I was disappointed there is no street view (the photos of windows are deceptive). However, I would still recommend because of convenience to the RER, metro, shopping and restaurants. It would have been perfect with a better bed.

Great location
The location is great! Close to the metro, RER and buses. The neighbourhood is centrally located (which cannot be overstated) has lots of places to eat and as a bonus it’s directly beside L’église Saint Eustache.
Fantastic central location, easy access to Metro, walking distance to Louvre, tons of cafes, shopping, etc.
We’ll equipped with enough towels, pillows, sheets, and kitchen items.
Clean and well kept.
The only downside is that it is extremely tiny! But that’s to be expected for the price and location. Would stay again.

Could have been great, except cleanliness was non-existent
My friends and I were so excited when we saw this posted as a place to stay during our trip in France. It had a good location that we were really looking forward to. The host was good at replying except failed to mention that the door that goes out to the street from the complex locks at 5PM, and we were given no code in order to unlock this door during our stay and were left to ask the local occupants. Also, we arrived during our allotted check-in time only to be greeted with trash on the floor and everywhere, wet towels on the bed, dirty dishes by/in the sink, nasty floors everywhere, more trash (giant box) in the bathroom, along with the poop stain in the toilet. Normally, I am not someone to complain, however, when you pay for a "cleaning" fee and arrive at the correct time, you might expect a place to at least not have dirty dishes, trash everywhere, poop stains, and used wet towels on the bed. Upon contacting the host, they decided to argue and tell me that I was incorrect and that they saw the place perfectly clean before we arrived. I have photos that were requested anyways upon our arrival and these photos definitely tell a different story. I am not sure if we just have 2 VERY different definitions of "clean" however, I do not think what we arrived to would be considered clean in most cultures. Especially when you are paying an extra fee for it to be clean, and we are still in the midst of a pandemic.

Das muss nicht sein!
Das Positive zuerst: die Lage war toll! Mittendrin!
