Waldorf Madeleine Hotel4.0 out of 5.0

Good location, nice staff. But the room suffered with a dangerous glass shower screen, a broken shower head and a broken door handle, the last of which meant i got stuck in the bathroom for a bit at the end of a very long day which is not what you need. I was on business so did not have time to enter a lengthy discourse with the hotel staff. As a result I don't know if they could have resolved these issues, but from the looks of things they seem to have been going on for a long time.
The location is great near Madeleine Church yet quite surroundings. A tiny small hotell with miniscule areas of lobby, breakfast room (unbelievably cramped!) but still functionable. A misunderstandin gof our request for twin beds (hopeless to find in Paris) was quickly solved by offering us two single rooms instead, which we accepted. (Travelled with my sister) Small but comfy and quiet room; great bed, bedlinen, slippers, bathrobe, coffeemaker in the room. Minus for no international TV channels, only French. The breakfastroom was probably the smalles I ever came across, it´s not a 4-star rating, but decent in terms of what was offered and served. Lovely, friendly service from staff in all areas!
1st time in Paris，the waldorf , what a great combination. when i first arrived in the morning, 7am, despite the fact that i forgot to write a main in advance to inform my early arrival , the staff was kind enough to help me prepare the room. the room is very cozy, well prepared and very clean. the front desk staff, so kind and warm hearted, to help you in every details. for the location wise, i must have to say, it's really show the best of paris. walking distance to every main sight of view, while at the same time, keep the calm and peace beauty of the paris. i have to say, i will come back, hope soon enough. to have another great memory. ps: everyone says that paris is the city of romance. i was there for business trip. when i left on oct.24, around 6:50 pm, at the lobby, packing my staff and waiting for the taxi. there was one single asian girl, had all my attention. really sorry for keep looking at you.... i was wondering, who are you waiting for? you must be with someone here, a beautiful girl like you, such a romantic city.....then i found out you might travel alone, ask the front desk staff, where you can take some pics of the beauty of paris. at that moment, i really wanted to come up to you and say, if may i have the pleasure, can we share the beauty of paris together......i was not brave enough, when i finally found my courage and try to catch up with you, you are gone, in the paris streets and my taxi was here. i was always thinking about you, if by any chance, you can see the notice.......
The hotel is located near the main turistics points, a lot of restaurants, cafés and boulangeries. Metro is near. Staff very atentious. Clean and big room. Everything working perfectly. Excellent cust effectiveness
What a jewel. By French standard the rooms are spacious. Very elegant rooms. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Marc the concierge and his team, well done. The location is fantastic, walking distance to main attractions.
Loved this hotel, so charming and staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the only drawback, Tiny breakfast room, miniature serving area and scrambled eggs had been cooked hours before serving! However I would still recommend this delightful hotel as it was a pleasure to stay there and the major tourist attractions were nearby.
Out stay in Paris was comfortable with this hotel. And they made it easier by telling us alll the landmarks in Paris in a funny way. Provide us a map of Paris pointing out all the good places. Even where we should have the ice cream. The room is small but comfortable and quiet.
We have been to Paris several times in the past and this hotel is the one that impressed us the most. The staff was welcoming and helpful; the room comfortable and well appointed. We were upgraded to the Deluxe Suite through my Expedia account, which was a welcome surprise after our long journey. The bed was two twins put together, with separate duvets and good quality bedding. Our Juliette doors opened to a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. The suite also had a small alcove with a desk and enough room for our suitcases, leaving the bedroom clear and restful. The bathroom was modern and bright, with a full-size bathtub. We'd definitely go back.
Great location, walking distance to a lot of places and also good eating cafes and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They always welcomed us like old friends every time we came back from a trip out site seeing. Would stay again if we were to re visit Paris.
My husband and I recently had the pleasure to stay at this hotel and were extremely pleased. The hotel was overall lovely with all its decor and the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance and close to the metro. Our concierge Marc was wonderful....he truly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Thank you Marc!!
