The staff was amazing from beginning to end. They helped me navigate the subway and suggested amazing dinner reservations. Everyone was friendly and willing to help assist my every request. The location is spectacular My new favorite hotel in Paris.

First time stay at the W. Lovely property - well-appointed rooms, large for Paris, nice bathrooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Location is great - convenient to walk to many top attractions, close to several Metro lines and RER. Very touristy area - hits you right when walk out the door.

We stayed here for 5 nights and the location was great. Very convenient close to the underground station, shops, galeries Lafayette and high end fashion streets. The rooms were stylish and well decorated but the toilet area and the shower was super small, hardly enough room to turn or raise ur arm when showering, also the water leaked out of the shower. The hotel itself is very small (i.e reception area, lobby etc). So be prepared if u were expecting a large scale type hotel. This is a boutique hotel.

We stayed here with our 2 kids in 2 adjoining rooms (Wow suite and regular room) in August 2017 for 5 nights. The hotel is perfectly located across the street from the Opera with easy access to the Paris metro and plenty of shopping, etc. The hotel itself is more or less a typical W - with all that this implies (very cool, but also a little ridiculous). What made this experience stand out for us is that absolutely incredible service that we received. Everyone from the restaurant staff to the check-in staff to - in particular - Marco at Concierge (which, at the W is called "Whatever"...see my point above about ridiculousness!) was AMAZING! My daughter and I celebrated a birthday while we stayed at the hotel and the hotel went out of their way to bring us cake at breakfast so my daughter could blow out the candles. They even decorated our room! Marco took great care of us, making reservations at great restaurants that completely met our very specific requests like "we want a Michelin starred restaurant that is kid-friendly and won't mind if the kids don't order food"! Little things also made a big difference - everybody remembering our names every morning; remembering how my wife and I like our coffee; not charging for delivery if you just order drinks from room service (so, you can order up a glass of wine in the evening and not pay anything other than the actual price of the wine). As a Starwood Platinum member, I stay at SPG properties around the world and, for a big-city hotel, this is one of the best managed hotels I've stayed at. Will definitely return next time i'm in Paris for business or pleasure.

This is an absolutely amazing hotel in the most perfect location! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are stunning, the service is exceptional - we had the most amazing time! Absolutely no faults with this hotel at all. I would highly recommend!

We stayed at the W Opera in Paris for five nights. The hotel staff went above and beyond helping us plan our trip to Paris and make reservations for us at the restaurants we wanted to try. My husband nor I speak French so we are especially grateful for the excellent concierge. Marko was our favorite, but everyone at the hotel was great. We are both SPG Platinum's and we used suite upgrades and were given a large suite with an awesome bathroom (Wow Suite). The hotel gave us gifts for my birthday and our anniversary (sparkling wine and confetti with notes and fun balloons!). Breakfast was great with the best croissants of our trip and incredible fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel has a great location near a few metro lines and many restaurants. The area didn't feel very touristy to me, but do you research on which location of the city you'd like to be in. The hotel is pretty small and while designed like a W, it didn't have the club/party feeling like other W's. I would definitely return here.

Didn't know what to expect as this was my first stay at the W Opera and the rooms in Paris tend to be on the smaller side. We left our bags with the bellman as we came from the Le Grand around the corner and came back we hours later. The initial upgrade was to spectacular room based on SPG Platinum status and they promised Marvelous suite later when it was ready. Although the Spectacular room was small in size, it was very well designed with a view of the Opera. Got a call about an hour later that instead of Marvelous they would Wow us this time. The 503 was roughly 50 square meters with bathroom. It was former attic and you had those attic type windows that you could open. Had nice bottle of French bubbly albeit not champagne and fruit plate. Internet worked well and employees were pleasant. I liked the location and will return. This is not one of those super party W hotels.

The W is a stylish and incredibly well located Hotel. Public parking is close, the W will park if you wish although the car park exit is literally next to the front door. Next to the Opera, Multiple Metro stations and Galleries Lafayette. Breakfast was outstanding, quite an elegant spread and lovely service. Good overt professional security is a comfort. Service at the W is outstanding and the team deserves high praise.

Had a suite on my recent biz trip to Paris and it was the most cramped suite I've had in a W hotel. The building's layout compromises their rooms as it is a conversion and not a purpose built. To be fair, a number of hotels in Paris suffer the same issues. Service is good, like most W hotels and the location is nice for gazing out on to the Opera. Also conveniently located for Galeries Lafayette if you want to do a bit of shopping. For the price though, I think you can find hotels with better room layouts. Word of caution, the suite's wardrobe is a death trap for stubbing your toes. I don't know why they didn't make the floors flush with the room.
