The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Price was great for being so close to the center of the city. The plumbing should be fixed, at least in the room we had, as the toilet did not have a S curve in the pipes so gas from the sewer made it into our room constantly.

Not much comfort

We use to stay in much better hotels. But because Paris is so expensive we decided to save some money. Hotel has good location. Breakfast €6 - plain baguette, croissant, jam, butter nuttela and orange juice and coffee. Made a mistake prepaid breakfast for all nights. Is it worth it? It was noisy from other rooms at night.

Awful!! Don’t go there!!

The heating didn’t work and I travelled during winter, I was looking for a way to get warm! The bedsheets were dirty and smelled really bad, they had holes and burn marks.. I didn’t want to sleep with those bedsheets! So I requested new ones but they gave me only the mattress and pillows cover, not a blanket… so I was cold the whole nights (3). The bathroom smelled awful! It doesn’t have ventilation and when I was going to use the toilet, you don’t want to know what I found… The smell gets out of the bathroom and goes all over the room, we were 2 gests and they gave us only 1 towel. The building has 5 floors and no elevators, I hope you decide not to go to this hotel but if you do, get ready to climb a lot of stairs… also, when I asked for breakfast the receptionist man was smoking outside, he just came in and didn’t wash his hands, he prepared the breakfast for us…

Value for money stay for a Paris trip

Hotel has all the facilities available at this price point in Paris. Friendly front desk, will take the keys for safekeeping every time you leave the hotel. Hotel is in pretty busy area but no noise issue as it is on a quiet street. Lot of affordable cafes, Arabic/Turkish restaurants and grocery stores near by. Will recommend.

It was too dirty a place. The room was very dirty, the bed was dirty, there was no bathroom in the room and the bathroom that was in the passage was too dirty and stinky. Also the area was too dangerous, they almost robbed me when I entered the hotel. a place of high crime. it was too terrifying an experience.

It was nice staying here! Close to city centre! Convenient transport and dining! They allowed to keep your belongings for the day even after your checkout! Helpful and supportive staff!

Grubby, shabby dive.

Very shabby hotel. No lift. Noisy. Shared bathroom was dirty and the shower fitting was broken and on one day there was no hot water. Room was shabby and dirty. The day I checked in, there was someone else's rubbish still in the room. Inadequate lighting in the room and the one power point well hidden, so I had to pull bed out to use the phone charger. Wifi was free but extremely weak signal so didnt work. It was supposed to be a non smoking hotel but it stunk of smoke. I was asked to leave the room key at the desk when I went out and ask for the key again went I came back. WHY?? They said as the desk was manned round the clock, it shouldn't be a problem. One morning I left the hotel at 6.00am. and the 'receptionist' was asleep on a camp stretcher. Probably why I totally ignored this rule.

Would not stay again

Hotel was old and in need of renovation. When I book a hotel I almost always need wifi. They did not have working wifi as advertised but they did move us to a room where we could use the reception wifi. Some lights didn't have bulbs, tables weren't assembled and the sinks weren't attached to the walls or floor.

Sketchy area

Sketchy area-- there were homeless guys in front of the hotel and late at night a group of young men doing drugs. Dark rooms. No AC, just a small fan. I will not return here. I was scared my entire stay.

Not worth it for the money

It's hot breakfast coffee and bread only and the tv is not cable not English Channel the room is hot no a/c no bathtub very noisy outside the hotel bad smell outside dnt want to come back here again so bad experience not comfortable at all and no elevator to bring your luggage in your room..

I liked it , minutes away from the metro & shopping area , you've got theatre & nightlife minutes away , the hotel itself is a typical 2 star affair but it's a case of you pay for what you get , the staff are there 24/7 the rooms get cleaned daily , there is good point & bad points but for Paris I found it more than fine

A but tired

Needs a good cleaning (and new towels;they were damp and gray). Bed was good and bathroom very good! Wouldn't take my American express card upon checkout and I had to go to an Atm to get cash to pay!! And then i had to ask for a receipt!! I think there were better hotels in the area for a bit more money.....get what you pay for.
