We arrived from the UK into Terminal 3 at CDG airport. Walking to Terminal 1 (circa 10 minutes), got the main Réseau Express Régional - RER B line train (10.50 euro, single). We purchased the tickets at the station for a circa 35 mins trip to Gare du Nord station. We were in Paris for 4 days and found purchasing a book of 10 Metro tickets good value for money. A short walk from Gare du Nord to the Metro station got the Metro 2 (blue line 1.90 euro) to Villiers, changing to the Metro 3 (light green) to Pereire. Exiting the Metro by Place du Maréchal Juin it was circa a 10 minute walk to the Novotel 17 hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, check-in was effortless. We had a superior double room which was spacious, clean and contained a small fridge with a complimentary bottle of water, see photos attached. The only downside to the room was that you are unable to open the windows and while there is air conditioning, very silent, the room got stuffy. We cannot comment on the hotel food as we decided on room only basis as wanted to sample the local cafes. Would recommend the hotel if in Paris.
The location was perfect opposite of our offices. The hotel lobby is outdated and cramped. The room was spacious with a proper size bathroom. Can't say anything about the breakfast, as this was not included. Good bed (hot blanket) and shower.
Family of 4 stop over for 2 nights. Checking in was interesting; booked this hotel due to the parking..however we have a VW transporter that is too tall for the parking so we were allowed to park out the front of the hotel but it was not secure. Something to be mindful of when booking ... I think she said that the limit was 145cm but that seems awfully short.. worth checking it out. However when trying to sort this out we were intermittently interrupted by a very loud argument between a member of the public and the front of house staff. Not the best image to portray. (Also a charge of €18 per night parking) although they didn't charge me... Also breakfast is like a zoo and staff struggled to cope with demand; no bowls available for cereal etc. Try getting there early so you can access the food stations. Location is reasonable with easy access to the ring road. And we using the metro station Peirere which is about a 20 minute walk. But some nice restaurants by the metro station.
We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Paris. The hotel room is nice and spacious for two adults, the room and bathroom was very clean. Free wi fi .On the whole the front desk staff were more than helpful when asking for directions. Breakfast was excellent and included in our price. The location is not the best.but only an easy 10 min walk to the metro for the city centre , so all in all a very nice stay would recommend to anyone on a smallish budget.
We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Paris. The hotel room is nice and big for two adults and 2 kids. The bathroom was so clean. We love everything about our room except for the staff. The front desk staff are not so helpful when asking for directions. Also on our first night I called the front desk for the times of the breakfast and I was told of wrong time 6-10:30am. We went to the breakfast room at 10:10AM and we were asked what are we doing. I said we are getting breakfast and was told they are closed. There are still a lot food in there but they wouldn't let us get any food and told us to leave and wait in the bar as they will serve us croissants and coffee. Wow, that was crazy!
This was an average, no frills hotel. The rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. The wifi was free, although it didn't work all that well. Breakfast was confusing. We arrived at the restaurant only to be told that we needed to go to the one downstairs. Arriving downstairs, we were told we should have been upstairs. It was the same each morning, with staff seemingly not knowing where we were supposed to go. The location was not the best. We had to take a bus to the metro station, and then the metro to the city centre.
Very nice and clean hotel, close to leading business companies. I would only appreciate to have breakfast included in the same price. I was there several times since November 2016. I also dined at hotel restaurant which is good in my viewpoint. Taxis have to reserved in advance to drive to airport in peak hours in Paris.
Well located, easily accessible and close to metro train station. Rooms are quite decent and very comfortable. Almost all amenities are available in rooms. Toiletries are of great variety. Very neat, tidy and clean rooms. Room service is also very efficient and is done on time. Just one glitch - the service staff does not understand English so communicating with them is difficult. Rooms facing the main road are quite good. Breakfast is just excellent and serves good varieties of food and fruits. Guests who are vegetarians, are recommended to stay at this hotel as they will get good variety of vegetarian food. This hotel is also easily accessible with most local transport system. Overall a 5 star to Hotel Novotel 17.
Lovely hotel, the reception staff where very good, Dustin, Lucille, always greeted you with a smile they went the extra mile to help you, I would give them 11 stars out of 10 if I could, so I give them 10 out of 10, the rooms where spotless, very relaxing and quiet, so another 10 out of 10, everything about this hotel was superb, I will definitely be back to this wonderful hotel.
We stayed in the Novotel Paris 17 for 4 night having two rooms with my wife and three children, the hotel is very clean, the rooms are modern and new, every day they load the mini bar with one small bottle of water free of charge , the buffet in the breakfast room is very good , the staff are very helpful. ..just it's little bit far from the nearest metro station, about 15 minutes walking.
