Once again stayed in the Novotel 17 in Paris. Quick check-in and found my room waiting for me in perfect condition. always a nice feeling when your room is clean, really nicely clean. A big brove for the team that takes care for maintenance of this hotel, every day when coming back to the room, all was perfectly clean, even the smallest details. (not always the case in some hotels)
We allowed them to push our check back 4 hours to assist, large room smelt of cigarettes, had to go and collect my Iron & Board. Noise Aircon, limited menu & a bit out of town. Room facilities were minimal
Accommodative staff- we were given three rooms before check in time and our request for family rooms was agreed to. Convenient for local travel by bus. Basic rooms with no frills. The breakfast was good.
Booked through a company offering a weekend break this was not the hotel I expected. Arriving in centre at night in a thunderstorm it took us 2 hours to get to it. It should have been a 30 minute metro ride followed by 16 minute walk. However, this was not the fault of the hotel which is on the perimeter of Paris near a railway station and four-lane motorway, which our room overlooked, and it was quite noisy at night. I noticed a few guests were dressed for Disneyland. There is car parking available (at a cost), but we were on foot. The room was clean and spacious with a large bed. The shower was hot and powerful (easily adjusted if you prefer cooler). The serve-yourself breakfast had a good choice of food, although getting cornflakes out of a sealed jug requires a bit of patience. I recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were very helpful.
We are staying here whilst my partner and I visit Paris. The room is big with decent bathroom and shower. It does take a while for them to service the room though. It's almost 3:30pm and our room is only being serviced now even though a servicing cart has been stopped outside our door since breakfast. The breakfast is decent with nice pastries and selection of teas. They also have a fresh orange juice maker and lovely scrambled eggs. However if you want eggs fried you have to do it yourself which is a bit weird. The most annoying aspect about this hotel is the fact that the hotel cafe and room service availability times are not the same as stated in the literature. They always either start later or finish earlier which we we're not impressed by. This meant we missed out on lunch and had to wait for diner due to the inconsistency. The hotel is good but not exceptional.
We have just got back from our long weekend break staying in this hotel. On arrival the lady at reception was really friendly and polite. On check in we had been upgraded to an executive suite with a view of the Eiffel Tower! The room was perfect :) very clean and modern. The breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice to set you up for the day exploring this magical city! Staff on reception were always happy to help, no matter what time of the day/night.. The hotel is located a little out of the way, but it's very close to a metro station or just hop in a taxi. We got engaged on our stay in Paris, once the hotel knew of this there was rose petals placed in our room.. such a sweet touch! We really enjoyed our stay. Would return in the future.
The overall experience was great, from the reception at arrival till the check out. it was my first visit to this hotel, and do not regret it at all. I certainly will visit it again. The service was great as well as the cleanliness. The restaurant offers a nice variety of good food. The value for money is great. thank you
Whilst this hotel is on the outer ring of Paris, we still managed to walk down to the Eiffel tower in around 30 to 40 minutes. The hotel room was of high quality and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, the staff were also very helpful and mostly spoke at least some English. Just one point to look out for here, don't order the steak in the in house restaurant! It was not nice at all, full of fat and gristle. Breakfast offerings were great and set us up for a big day on the road.
We booked our honeymoon here and the hotel was great! The staff was so kind that they upgraded our room with a view of the eiffel tower because we mentioned it was our honeymoon. It was very thoughtful of them!
We arrived from the UK into Terminal 3 at CDG airport. Walking to Terminal 1 (circa 10 minutes), got the main Réseau Express Régional - RER B line train (10.50 euro, single). We purchased the tickets at the station for a circa 35 mins trip to Gare du Nord station. We were in Paris for 4 days and found purchasing a book of 10 Metro tickets good value for money. A short walk from Gare du Nord to the Metro station got the Metro 2 (blue line 1.90 euro) to Villiers, changing to the Metro 3 (light green) to Pereire. Exiting the Metro by Place du Maréchal Juin it was circa a 10 minute walk to the Novotel 17 hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, check-in was effortless. We had a superior double room which was spacious, clean and contained a small fridge with a complimentary bottle of water, see photos attached. The only downside to the room was that you are unable to open the windows and while there is air conditioning, very silent, the room got stuffy. We cannot comment on the hotel food as we decided on room only basis as wanted to sample the local cafes. Would recommend the hotel if in Paris.
