Had an amazing experience in Paris, which wouldn't of been the same without the Staff! We had lots of help with directions, where to eat, where to shop, which train to catch etc... Staff spoke perfect English ( Big Thanks to Karim and Patrick who made our experience)! The shower in our room was amazing, the only thing they could improve on in the Wi-Fi :) Brilliant Hotel with an amazing view! (Can see the top of the effiel tower)
I stayed there 3 nights. Bed and facilities good, wifi for free but with a bad connection. We had our room on second floor and we heared the traffic truth the windows. Good hotel for a city trip because its very close to a good netro station :)
Bad wifi-which in my opinion is extremely important. The room for a single traveller was medium sized, very basic, bathroom was nice but the hotel looks old. Just on the corner of the St Lazare station. Nothing special so if you find better rates or better options good for them. Staff was polite I must say.
Came with friends to a rugby match and stayed two nights. Very close to good restaurants and bars. Basic conditions in reception and in hallways, but room was well equiped and spacious with a large soft double bed. Good value for money but a bit sparse.
Friendly and helpful staff. The room didn’t have a great view but instead we had 2 rooms and a big bathroom. Modern decor, clean rooms and pleasant beds to sleep in. Overall we had a good time at GHN.
The hotel is old, you can get a better hotel for the same price. The air conditioner/heater was not working, and the towels are old. It seems that the cost optimization of the hotel is deteriorating the service.
We loved this hotel. The location was perfect, convenient, easy to find and right in the middle of where we wanted to be. Across from the train station was perfect for our day trip to Giverny. Easy to walk to shopping! We arrived early before check-in but the kind staff allowed us to check our bags so we could venture out and see the sites! The breakfast was very good. Our room was small, but just right for us - my daughter loved the twin beds! Definitely recommend this hotel!
We had a family vacation towards the end of May this year, the hotel looked fine on the pictures and I even checked reviews before booking. I made several mistakes on this one..... firstly they do not give refunds, everyone out there, make sure the terms and conditions include refunds. We checked into the hotel on the 28 May 17, the check-in process was fairly straight forward and it did not take a lot of time at all. They do not have porters, so you need to carry your own luggage... no problem! When we saw the room it was bordering on ok, however, the next morning we wanted to have a shower before heading out for the day and there was no hot water. We complained to reception, who was quiet snotty about fixing it. The other thing is that their internet does not work all the time, downtime was being experienced almost every day. The hot water situation carried on until the third day, by which time we were ready to check out.... however NO REFUNDS!!! They did eventually fix the issue but we still checked out early. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star by any stretch of the imagination. I would caution travelers to take note of the negative comments... The hotel is also very noisy as the station has passing traffic at all hours of the day and night... Breakfast is also below average and the service in the hotel is bad.
I have never been so humiliated by hotel staff in my life. If I could give them a zero I absolutely would. They ruined the start of what was supposed to be a vacation for my family to rest and relax. As soon as we walk through the doors, an employee working the front desk begins to yell at us "NO SPACE!" continuously. We then proceed to show him the voucher that is our proof that we had a reservation for 2 rooms that were booked at least 2 months prior to our arrival. He then proceeds to yell at us that it is impossible because they are "completely booked". We then ask how can they be fully booked if we have had a reservation for multiple months which he then proceeds to blame our travel agency. My mother asked for the wifi so we could book another hotel and call our travel agency since we "didn't have a reservation". He tells us to go outside on the street to get Internet. Thankfully we are able to use our phones for a quick phone call. So we proceed to call our travel agent and he quickly books us at another hotel. The travel agent however does confirm that our reservation is correct and that the employee is the one at fault. We have still not received a refund or any compensation for their terrible service and I warn anyone who visits Paris to never stay there unless they want to be abandoned because of unregulated employees.
