The hotel is old but clean. The towels are also old. The location is convenient - near the train station and bus stop. There are also several restaurants nearby. There's free WiFi but it gets slow after some time.
We stayed here between 26th May to 29th May. The hotel entrance is very small and it can easily be missed but it is right outside La Gare Saint Lazare with easy transport links to almost everywhere. The location of the hotel is spot on. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby too. The room was very spacious, there were three of us girls so it was the perfect sized room. The only downer would be that the toilet and the shower are on separate ends of the room with no sink to wash your hands where the toilet is. Overall it was a good hotel, with very great and helpful staff. We did have our electricity go out once but the maintenance staff were quick to sort this out. The Wifi is not great in the rooms and very weak. It was probably most strong nearest to the door. The only thing I would like to mention is on the day we were due to check out and catch our flight, the hot water stopped working which meant we were unable to have a hot shower. The staff were already on to resolving this and were very apologetic. As a gesture of kind will, we were exempt from paying the city tax at check out.
Quiet hotel with easy access to public transport, shopping and restaurants this was more than sufficient for our 4 night stay in Paris. Breakfast is self service and has a number of options (not really a cooked breakfast for those wondering) eggs/breads/croissants/cereal and yoghurt just to name most of what is available As repeated in some of the below reviews Wifi is not good, it works some times but drops in and out regularly, found myself just using my international data out of frustration A few english channels on the TV CNBC/BBC Europe 4/5 seems sufficient, its clean, quiet and well located and the deal available for us was definitely value for money
I stayed for 3 days and yes the location is very good. Next to st lazare station and so close with many restaurants. Its also very easy to go to Louvre, Eiffel, and other tourist spot because the bus stop just in front of the hotel. If you wanna go for shopping then just 5 minutes walk you will arrive in Gallery Lafayatte
I wanted a hotel right next to St Lazare station and Expedia had a really good deal on the hotel so i went for it. I cant really think of anything good about the hotel other than it is quite and they have an elevator. My major complaints are that wifi would go out every 10 minutes and you have log back in. The bed was small and not very comfortable. The shower would leak every time I used it and the water would go all over the place and I would have to clean up. The hotel staff said this was normal abput the shower. I used there computer and its internet would go out alot too. They also charge a lot for breakfast and It didnt look like much so I got my breakfast across the street at Starbucks instead every morning. I dont recommend.
I stayed here for 3 nights on a short weekend getaway. The hotel is in a fantastic location, which is probably its best feature. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Given its location, it is very noisy at night and there is a lot of ambient light which made it very difficult to sleep. The wifi also barely worked in my room as I was at the end of the hallway and likely far from the router. Again, the hotel worked, but it was hardly a 4-star hotel. 2.5/3 stars at best!
Booked this the day I was checking in so I was prepared for the worst. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the room was, plenty of space and a nice view of the rest of the building. The location is perfect being right next to the train station but still within walking distance of attractions if you fancy a walk through the Parisian streets. My only gripe was that I found the pillows to be slightly uncomfortable, that probably is just personal preference mind you!
Not 4 ****. Maybe it could have 3 stars. Super tiny room, dusty, blanket with holes, very b&b like reception. For sure I won't come back there. The location is great but it's nor what you expect from an hotel in this category.
Such a nice, clean and well run hotel. Stayed for 4 nights. Location is excellent and in a safe location. It is perfect hotel for a city break. We did not go with the breakfast option so we cannot comment on the quality of the food. The rooms and bathrooms looked freshly decorated and modern. Admittedly small but it is expected from a city hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Very clean, small room but very comfortable beds. Its right on front the Saint Lazare train station. There is a mall on the train station too. Attention and service was mostly great, 24 hours front desk. Breakfast was ok for our American taste. Overall it was a very good experience on a great location. Wi-Fi was difficult at the room. At the lobby the Wi-Fi reception is the best. The Opera house is at a walking distance and you can catch a tour bus from there to see the rest of the big attractions in Paris.
