Amazing hotel, good location next to the Arch and the metro station is directly at its door step with the best lines, lovely staff specially Manuel who helped us a lot the last day. Sure I would book it again for my next trip to Paris and I recommend everyone to do the same.
Nice hotel, with a superb location right in the centre of Paris. We stayed for the marathon, and its literally a stones throw from teh start and finish lines. Rooms were basic enough, but adequate. Somewhat dark, but the beds were comfortable, especially after 42km traipsing around Paris. Breakfast was continental, fine but nothing to rave about. All in alla good experience
This hotel is very basic, but is very well located. The rooms are very small, but the beds are comfortable. Seating in the room was limited to a single straight back chair. The lobby had some nice lounge chairs in it, and was quit enough to read in. There are many dining options near by.
We chose the Hotel Belfast because of its location to Le Bus Direct line 2, which travels from CDG airport to the top of Avenue Carnot, just yards from the hotel. We found the reception staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When we checked in we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a superior room 225 on the 2nd floor. The room was large and had a wardrobe, dressing table, flat screen t.v., fridge and mini bar and safe. When we booked this hotel we were pleased the rooms had a kettle and tea and coffee, unusual for Paris hotels. The room had a double bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean with samples of soap, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion, also a hair dryer. We were in Paris during a very hot spell and appreciated the air conditioning. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were left out. We had breakfast in the hotel each day, there was a lot to choose from e.g. cereal, toast, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, breads, cakes and various fruits and jams. The lady who prepared the breakfast was very friendly. We would recommend this hotel, and will be going back again next year.
Just stayed at this hotel a few nights ago and had to leave a review for the owners. They are always there and are so sweet and truly go out of their way to make your stay better. It is not a massive hotel, it is a small, very traditional hotel in such an amazing location. CDG airport shuttle dropped us off directly in front of the hotel, it does not get better than that! Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was modern. View was spectacular. Free breakfast filled us up with such a pleasant lady who works there. Will stay again. Very nice!
This hotel is a joke. The staff doesn't speak English. The room is so small that you can't move at all. They keys are ancient and don't work. There is no view. No ironing allowed in rooms and guests can go to the filthy basement to iron themselves. The carpet is dirty. The cupboard doesn't open as it's blocked by the so called study table. The door doesn't open if you place the suitcase on the stand. I checked out in 3 hours and had to pay for 2 nights at this crappy hotel even though I didn't stay there. Stay on the street if need be, but not here!
I booked this hotel 5 months prior to arrival as I want to make sure I get that room with a view, the one that's on their website. It's a suite, not a regular room. So we have to pay higher rate, and I'm glad I did because we were always out in the balcony just staring at the partial view of the arc, and we wait every hour for the Eiffel Tower to light up. But I was expecting we can have breakfast out in the balcony, just like what they are showing in the website, but I don't know how you can fit in a table out there. The balcony is very small and only 2 people can stand in it, and that's all you can do...stand! But it's all right. The size of their suite is the same as a regular room in a US hotel. So i can't imagine how tiny their regular room is. I'd still go back.
Great location: 100m north of L'Arc du Triomphe, easy access to the Metro, an airport bus which stops 50m away, and Champs Elysees near. My room (217) was clean and quiet and had a view of the street. The bathroom looked like it had been recently re-fitted, re-tiled and renovated. The bed was nice and firm and I slept well each night. So far so good. On the down-side though, the room was small (admittedly, most Paris hotels that I've stayed in are this way), and the decor, fixtures and fittings were very tired and dated. The foyer looks grand at first impression, decorated in gilt, but look closer at the huge Japanese vase in reception and you see it's held together with adhesive tape around its base. I glanced inside it and it's full to the brim with rubbish, chocolate wrappers, debris. Disappointing. The breakfast room and 'lounge' are small and not very inviting. For three nights, on business, it was bearable. But for 180€ per night, I would expect better.
One thing going for it was it's location, one block from Champ-Elysees and right outside the CDG metro stop. But what was unforgivable was the fact that there is only hot water for 2 mins before it starts to go cold! My bath and shower were miserable. Plus the room was extremely small, only room for a double bed and walking around it. Had to put my luggage on the desk. (room 244, internal, no view)
We spent 4 days at the hotel. Location is perfect - walking distance from everything and a metro station right outside. The managere is a wonderful woman, more than happyto assist and guide whenever you need. Worth mentioning that the hotel is perfect for Shabat for religous jews, and it very close to beit chabbad champs elysses and many kosher places. Rooms are quite small but the price is fair. Recommended.
