We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The staff was very informative and helped with very good recommendations and support whenever needed. The location is great also, close to everything and seconds from the metro. We had a great time!
This week the manager called me on the day of my check-in to announce that she refused to sell me the room I had pre-paid 2 weeks in advance for the price of €95. She told me an error was made by the receptionist where I made the reservation and that the normal price of the room is €180. She told me that the daytime receptionist Benoit had told me that this was the normal price, but that I came back at night and made the booking with his colleague, insinuating that I deliberately waited until night time to make the booking. Even though, I have been a regular guest there since January and Benoit told me that he could offer me a room rate for regular guest for €120/night this offer was not communicated to me by the manager (Not sure if Benoit even communicated this to her, since he is also very UNRELIABLE (e.g. offering complimentary breakfast as a ‘regular guest’ for which I received a bill at checkout and then denying that he offered this to me). I am NOT responsible for the prices offered by her staff and I think it’s highly CUSTOMER-UNFRIENDLY to call the guest on the day of arrival announcing that an error has been made (while the reservation was made 2 weeks in advance) and that I could come in for a refund of my money, but that she wasn’t selling me the room for that price, 3 days before Easter with 99% of hotels in Paris booked. I had to pay the price for someone else’s mistake. Very disappointing. Not returning here.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belfast for 2 days. Great location and very helpful staff. I stayed at this hotel years ago and remembered it was near to everything! I tried to get a ticket for the Dior Exhibit but couldn’t...sold out! The gentleman at the front desk arranged for a ticket for me! I was thrilled to spend a wonderful afternoon seeing this amazing exhibit! Thanks again for all your help!
My husband and I recently had 10 days in Paris and were lucky enough to stay in Hotel Belfast. Our room was spacious, beautiful and quiet with lovely views and well appointed bathroom. We loved every minute! I have stayed here 5-6 times before and never been disappointed! Breakfast is fresh, healthy and sustaining with excellent coffee! Always try to stay here, location to RER and Metro just 10 mtrs from front door - perfect for those rainy or windy days. Would not stay anywhere else! Thankyou for such a lovely stay!
The most wonderful hotel. Excellent location that is close to everything, very clean rooms and great staff. They helped us with everthing. We really recommend it and thanks to Belfast Hotel we had a dream holiday.
All in all it was a nice hotel to stay, very well located The staff was very nice with me What I didn't appreciated was not related to myself or my stay, but I found the staff very un-professional to shout at each other at the reception, very loudly, so you can't avoid the conversation while in the lobby, it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Apart this experience I would have put a 4
On checking in at 12:15pm (check in time is 12pm) I was told that the room was not available. I went for a 1.5 hour walk to the Eiffel Tower and came back, room still not available. I was promised a high room with a view of the Arc De Triomph and Eiffel Tower because of the very late check in issues. We were given a 2nd floor room with a balcony Which was full of cigarette butts. The view could only be seen if you went out onto the balcony. Unfortunately I have to report that the walls here are thin. We had some terrible people next to us who thought it was ok to punch the wardrobes and shout and talk loudly and stand on the balcony and shouted at 1:30 in the morning. Even if someone’s voice is loud you will here them. The next day we reported this and was told that the culprits would be spoken to. I asked if we could have another room, we were told if it happens to come and see the receptionist. It did happen again. It was our last night and started around 4am. What’s the point of moving at 4am when we requested a move before and were denied? On checking out we were asked if the people caused more disruption. We said yes and the receptionist said, “I told them about their noise but THEY WERE NOT HAPPY, NOT HAPPY AT ALL”....So who is the problem here? The people shouting, screaming and punching the walls and furniture at between midnight and 4am or the quiet guests wanting to sleep? The location is great but a good nights rest is great too. We had room 227. It was a twin but adequate for 2 adults. Bathroom size is good but the shower points inwards. Breakfast is not included and is €13 per person on top of your stay. Remember the €10 tax on departure. This hotel needs to soundproof it’s rooms immediately and also eject disruptive guests. 5/5 -1 For the late check in. -1 False promise of a high floor room with a view. -1 For not dealing with noisy, disruptive guests and moving us on request. -1 Making us feel bad for complaining. 1/5, really this hotel could have handled this much better......location isn’t everything, customer service and a good nights sleep is more rewarding.
I stayed with a friend at Hotel Belfast when we were in Paris for a long weekend. I really liked this hotel because it was clean, the location is great, and the hotel staff was very friendly. We stayed in a room with a balcony that gave us a nice view of the Arc. The beds were small but comfortable and warm. The bathroom is a tight fit but very modern and clean. I think the location is what makes this place worth it. You are a block away from the Arc, walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, and to hundreds of restaurants and bars.
Literally a 1 minute walk from Arch de Triomphe and 30 second walk to the Metro. The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. The hotel amenities were nice as well. We stayed here mid feb and was perfect.
We had a long weekend at Hotel Belfast in February. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location - 30 seconds from the metro and within walking distance of many major tourist sites. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The decor is full of character and the hotel has a nice feel to it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, only ours was rather small. But for the location the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Hotel Belfast for a great getaway weekend.
