My Boyfriend and I decided to take a quick trip to Paris for the weekend and stayed at Hotel Belmont. The room was large and clean with everything we could have needed. They also had Hermes toiletries which was lovely

This was our first trip to Paris and the Belmont played a huge role in making it as successful and enjoyable as it was. First of all, we arrived in Paris many hours ahead of the official 2 PM check-in time, and we headed to the hotel initially to ask if we could at least leave our bags there prior to check-in so that we could explore the city without our luggage. However, the front desk told us without hesitation that, since they have a room ready, we could just immediately check in. In fact, all the staff turned out to be very friendly and helpful. Our room, located on the 2nd floor, was beautiful. Although it was winter, we couldn't resist occasionally opening our window, with its decorative iron grating and window boxes, and taking turns having our pictures taken from the street. By the way, the street was surprisingly quiet and we had no problems being woken up by any kind of street noise. The location also turned out to be perfect for us since we were first time visitors to Paris. It could not have been more convenient to get to the major attractions such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. The train station to Versailles was also very close. Overall, it's hard for us to imagine our trip getting any better and the Hotel Belmont was definitely one of the reasons for that.
I asked for a balcony which was given to us. Despite the room being on the main street the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable and big.
We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean comfortable and quiet. The location was pwrfecf for walking. Breakfast not included but still good value. I'd stay again.
The hotel is newly renovated and nicely appointed in both the lobby and the rooms. However, the rooms are VERY small, even for Paris standards. The location is literally a few minute walk to the Champs. Staff was friendly, but the hotel was missing a few amenties that should be present for a 4 star hotel (ie. no irons available, etc). Overall, its a good hotel, but I have stayed in better hotels within Paris and would probably not stay here again.
