This place is incredible. Customer service is top notch. We were upgraded to an Eiffel Tower view room and treated like royalty from start to finish by hotel staff. Very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom with top notch fixtures. Convenient to excellent shopping and dining in a classy neighborhood in the 8th Arrondisement. The free gourmet bar is a great touch with excellent goodies restocked throughout the stay. You would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in all of Paris.
This was my second stay at this hotel....and what a beautiful experience each time it has been ....from the time that smile greets you when you check in...and check in is not the boring standing type of check in...no no....you are ushered into a lounge where you munch on some freshly baked lip smacking delicious macaroons and or chew away on their creamy Nougat (both of which Fauchon are famous for) and wash it down with chilled flute of champagne. The real treat though awaits you in the room....once you sink into that bed and those pillows there is no getting up and then there is their piece de resistance ....their "Gourmet Bar"...i am a world traveller and have stayed in many of the plush hotels the world over but haven't come across this any where...get this...open this 2 door cupboard and get amazed by the goodies in this from Chocolates to Biscuits to toffees to Crepes to Toasts and spreads....and all within your tariff...no checking on the price...yours to savour as way of thanking you for your loyalty....wow....truly wow. The breakfast too is to die for ....they way they make a simple scambled eggs to be so deliciously mouthwatering....and all of the above with smiles and miles of smiles ....i don't know how they do it....but they do....everyone who works in creating this magic in this hotel is called an "artisan" and they couldn't have chosen a better way to describe themselves....each takes so much pride in delivering such spectacular service and that too with the broadest smile....take a bow FAUCHON L'hotel !!!
English follows; 新しく綺麗なホテルでスタッフも皆フレンドリー。どこからともなく漂う良い香りと無料スイーツ、無料のペット入りウォーターでとても快適に過ごすことができました。場所もとても便利です。 当初、私達はエッフェル塔ビューデラックスルームを予約しましたが、メールでバスタブの有無について確認したところ、バスタブはジュニアスイート以上の部屋しかないと返信があり、ジュニアスイートに変更しました。（ホテル予約サイトではエッフェル塔ビューデラックスルームの写真にはバスタブが掲載されているのですが・・・） 私達が宿泊したジュニアスイートは北向きで日が当たらず9月初旬にも関わらず窓からの景色は寒々しく、どなたかの口コミにもありましたがホームレスビューでした（笑） 名物のFauchonスイーツですが、食べかけを置いていると、それをハウスキーピングの際にスイーツボックスの棚に戻されます。でも電話で新しいのを持ってきて欲しいと伝えたら直ぐに持ってきてくれました。マカロンはお部屋にはありません。 あと、メールで何度か問い合わせしましたが、バスタブについてと、タクシー送迎について以外（予約確認や上層階リクエスト等）には一切返信がなく、チェックインするまで不安でした。 とは言え、冒頭にも記載したように素晴らしいなホテルには違いなく、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。ホテルに併設されているFauchonカフェの食事は美味しいです。 CARITA SPAはあまり利用価値がありません。予約が入ったら外部からエステティシャンを呼ぶ方式のようです。 New and clean hotel, all staff were friendly, sweet smell, complimentary sweets, complimentary water and comfortable. The location is also very convenient. Initially, I booked the “Eiffel Tower View Deluxe Room”. And when I confirmed about the bathtub by email, I received a reply that the bathtub is a class above the junior suite. So I changed to a junior suite. (In various hotel reservation sites, pictures of “Eiffel Tower View Deluxe Rooms” feature a bathtub…why?) The junior suite is north-facing and has no sunlight. The scenery was cold and there was always a homeless view from the window. If I leftovers of my Fauchon sweets, the housekeeper puts it back on the shelf. However, as soon as I requested by phone, it brought me a new product. Macaroon is not in the room. I contacted the hotel several times via email (reservation confirmation, upper floor request, etc.). But there was no response other than about bathtub and taxi , so I was anxious until I checked in. However, it was a wonderful hotel. I was comfortable. CARITA SPA is not very useful. It seems to be a method of calling an aesthetician from the outside when a reservation is made.
Excellent hotel. Very smooth check-in with a welcome drink and macarons in the library. The rooms are delightful: stylish, comfortable and quiet. The minibar is a sight to behold, the lighting is exactly where you need it, the bathrooms are spotless and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. However, the staff make the hotel. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, smiling and helpful - from the doorman to the receptionists to the staff in the breakfast room. Nothing was too much trouble, including retrieving our chargers etc that we'd left in the room after we'd checked out. Superb breakfast with lovely warm croissants. This will be my go-to hotel in Paris. Great location as well.
FAUCHON - a name any PArisian would know owing to its amazing Desserts! The new hotel is a unique hotel with a fancy design and revolving around the amazing food which the brand creates. Rooms are a bit away from ordinary with very high grade fixtures. Rooms are not that big unlike the luxury hotels, however very chic! Service - They can definitely do with a bit more of staff. However the staff is very energetic and helpful. The stay experience was very nice. One of the nicest General Managers which any hotel can have. A truly Gem of a person!!! Thank you for the care taken Sir! The dinner was exquisite, one of the fanciest preparations one can ask for. Breakfast - I think they could probably make a more elaborate offering on the buffet. Not much to choose from. If one is looking for a chic place and well located - Fauchon is your choice, although I may not really call it luxurious.
We have stayed in many of the ‘best’ hotels in Paris, and this is the one we want to return to more than any others. The Fauchon brand is distinctive fresh and inspiring with the decor reflecting the skills of several eminent French designers. The staff were all welcoming and generous-spirited; they could not have done more to make the visit with our granddaughter more enjoyable, for all of us. Nothing was too much trouble for them, starting with their signature cocktail and macaroon on arrival. Laura was simply outstanding in her friendly professionalism, and the service over breakfast was attentive without being intrusive. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Paris. They certainly deserve all the accolades they receive from guests.
I stayed at the Fauchon l’hotel for a business trip. I found the check in process great and was upgraded. The room I had was very modern and clean and had everything I required for a 2 night stay. The gym was well equipped and clean. It is in a good location for central Paris. I would recommend for business and leisure travellers
I fly to Paris with my wife to celebrate her birthday and we stayed at Fauchon L'hotel and wow was I impressed! They provided us early check-in, an amazing welcome drink and macaroons along with small little touches within the room (e.g. balloons, confetti, etc.) for my wife's birthday. The service was absolutely outstanding with the staff at the hotel who were very welcoming and friendly and made the overall experience great. The location is superb - walking distance to many sights and cafes/restaurants! It's also in a very posh and safe neighbourhood which is good to know. The only 2 things that made me give the hotel a 4 star and not 5 are the following: 1) A/C was not strong at all. The location of the A/C vents was near the front door and we could barely feel the coolness of the A/C which is much needed in Summer months. 2) We had breakfast only for one of the mornings. Unlike other European hotels that offer a buffet style breakfast, this hotel had a menu. For a few items my bill was 54 euros for breakfast! Mind you this was for 2 eggs, juice, coffee, and some pastries. The overall breakfast wasn't anything special for us. Besides the above-mentioned experiences, we would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!
We thanked the hotel for a memorable stay at this beautiful hotel - from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 August. Their warm and friendly welcome, attention to detail and wishes for our Golden Wedding anniversary made this a very special visit in Paris. We look forward to visiting again
Stayed in this hotel for a night. I arrived early, way before check in so upon arrival, the receptionist guided me to the lounge where I filled out the check-in form. While waiting, she gave me their signature mock tail and some Fauchon macarons - a very nice touch, especially after travelling for several hours on the train. The general manager was there as well, he was very nice and welcoming. Apparently, He personally greets each guest whenever he can. Unlike the snobby managers from other 5 star properties in Paris. All around the hotel, you are treated with an array of complimentary gourmet treats from the Fauchon brand, such as macaroons and caramels. You will never go hungry when you stay in this hotel! Since the room was not yet ready, I went out first to meet my friends who are visiting from qatar. Upon my return, they handed me my key and the lady brought me to my room and explained every amenity. I see some comments who thinks it is too much, but personally, I appreciate this as I find their attentiveness to detail an excellent trait for a 5 star property. And besides, I don't have the time to discover how to use the nice amenities such as the in room tablet, nor to bother looking for the slippers. The room was spacious and had huge windows overlooking the street. Delicious complimentary treats, mix of sweet and salty, were also waiting for me at the in-room gourmet bar. Unlike other hotels, who gives you one bottle of water, this hotel offers several bottles of still and sparkling water for free. The bathroom was very spacious as well, and the shower was huge, which I liked very much especially because of my size. And let me tell you about the bed, it was huge and comfortable. It was so comfortable that I did not want to go out and just wanted to sleep in. In any case, I had one of the best sleep I have had in a parisian hotel. Another nice touch that I particularly liked is the fact that I can connect the tablet to the TV and watch Netflix. Makes you feel at home! As a travel professional, the sales manager Maud, invited me to dine in their restaurant. The restaurant is lovely and nicely decorated. Food was delicious, and the desserts are to die for! The batista can concote a personalized drink depending on your preferences or even your mood. Food was very affordable, especially for the quality and the freshness of the ingredients. I really enjoyed my dinner with Maud. Like every other employee of the hotel, she was very nice and welcoming. Following morning, I had breakfast at the same restaurant. Breakfast is not buffet and had to be prepared to guarantee freshness. Although I appreciate this, personally, I would have preferred that they place some readily available breakfast food, such as fruits, cereals, yogurt, etc somewhere that the clients can easily access and self serve as the wait time can be long especially when it gets busy. Throughout my stay, this is the only thing they can improve on. The rest was perfect. Check out was a breeze and the bell boy was very friendly. This fairly new hotel is a must if you are a foodie or if you are in a honeymoon. It is also good for an all girls group and even families. Overall, after my stay, this hotel is now one of my preferred hotels in Paris.
