The hotel was more expensive than what I usually pay for. But I guess, I paid mostly for the neighborhood. The hotel room was small. The carpet was pretty worn down. The water leaked outside the shower door on to the carpet. I could not get the air conditioning to work. Even though the room was clean and maintained well, it did not feel like an expensive place. To be fair, we were hardly in the room and we did not complain about these things to the staff to get them fixed either.

We had a supreme room, no category above that. Room decor is extremely old and tacky. Dirty carpet in room and hallways, elevator. Dirty walls, it’s just not kept up. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom new and clean. There was an air freshener smell to cover up the old smell. Toilet is not part of shower and sink but extremely small kid you have long legs. Low curling, small dark room, stuffy. Close to Rue Cler which is a plus and quiet area. Very safe. Will not stay again unless it’s completely renovated.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. On arrival, I raised concerns about the dirt and overall state of my room, politely asking if I could be moved to a cleaner one. After pointing out further stains and dirt in the lift, I was told the hotel would refund me because they “didn’t want me to stay there.” As a young woman travelling alone, I found this response deeply unsettling. The staff member I dealt with was aggressive and threatening, telling me I had to leave. I waited two days to speak to a manager, as none were available when I was at the hotel. When I finally did, I was met with dismissive and standoffish behaviour. A receptionist even called me a “Karen” and said they “know people like me,” simply because I had complained. I also noted that a colleague of mine, who stayed at the same time and raised similar complaints, was treated entirely differently, he was apologised to, offered compensation, and even given a feedback form. When I pointed this out and said I felt I was being treated unfairly, I was told I was “playing the race card.” I spent three days at this hotel with constant anxiety, worried about returning to my room, my belongings, and how I was being treated. As I was travelling for business, I couldn’t easily change my plans. Although I eventually received an apology, it was too late, the damage was done. I have recordings of most of these exchanges with staff and even though I remained polite the entire time I was constantly gaslit.

The room for the price just isn't worth it at all, it's really small with an impractical bathroom which leaves you hitting elbows for someone tall. The biggest issue is the smell, the ventilation comes from other rooms, so when someone uses bathroom next door, expect to smell it in your room. I did raise it as a complaint and was provided a toilet gel in effect as they couldn't move me and mentioned there's no solution it's just how the building is.

Great hotel! Clean rooms, good AC, nice showers. Bathroom is renovated. The location is good with lots of food options. They give you free bottled water and every afternoon from 1-9 they have snacks in the lobby. Only thing is it's not that close to the metro but it's a short walk. I would stay here again and again! Staff were amazing!

Hotel staff were lovely every hour of the day, hotel was so conveniently located to the metro and seeing the Eiffel Tower every day was the best! The breakfast option was also good and there were hot and cold options. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was the perfect temperature and pressure.

Good: Hotel is centrally located in the heart of all Paris tourist attractions. Tons of decent restaurants are within walkable distance. Room cleaning staff are very nice and have hospitality mind set. Bad: Some of the front desk staff is very unprofessional. Seven of us bought breakfast plans and were told we’re ok to enjoy snacks in the afternoon too. One day we’re back from attractions and took some snacks where only a few of them left from the morning. On the way back to our room, the front desk guy held our elevator and badly criticized us in front of other guests regarding not being considerate. He expected us to leave some snacks for other guests to enjoy too. As I saw there hadn't been much of snacks left when we consumed. We were the group of seven American Asian people where more than half of them are seniors who tried to enjoy Paris for the first time while they still can walk. On the following day, my senior friend told she saw two teen guests carried a bunch of afternoon snacks back to their room without any issue. I don’t want to throw a racist card here but it is two different standards and practices. Our first impression for Paris hotel was totally a fiasco. To the end, we managed to enjoy other aspects of Paris with the good memories though.

We stayed at 7 Eiffel by Malone in Paris and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The front desk staff displayed discriminatory behavior toward Asian guests, making us feel unwelcome. The attitude from both front desk and kitchen staff was rude when guests ate Hôtel snacks provided. Housekeeping was also lacking — the teapot was dirty, cups and glasses were not cleaned daily, and the hotel only provided one bottle of water per person every other day. While the location is convenient, the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and discriminatory treatment make this hotel one we cannot recommend.”

Though the property was in a good place, the hotel itself is very dated. Not a 4 star hotel for sure. I am 6 ft 220lbs and could barely fit in the shower because my shoulders were too wide. Everything was tiny and there was no work space in the room.
