Small, luxury oasis amid the hurly-burly of Paris. We stayed five nights June 15-20, 2017. The staff could not have been more helpful, from arranging reservations in Sete, FR to assisting in small business matters back in the USA. We had room # 9 on the inner court, so it was quiet. Easy location for Left Bank exploring. We'love be back.
Location, location, location...walk distance to many sightseeing sites...few restaurants options close but if walk a few blocks there are many restaurants nearby, quite street, the hotel is calm and the room was very quite, we were able to sleep well, the breakfast buffet is wonderful, many selections of bread, the fruits could have more variety though, we enjoyed our stay.
We only stayed there for a night and didnt expect much. The service was good as the staff was always ready to help. The hotel is situated in a local spot making it easy to go everywhere you would like to. I expected a little bit more from a five star hotel in terms of the rooms but then again it was satisfying.
Once in a while you find a gem in your travels...this is one of them. The front desk staff is extremely accommodating and is ready to fulfill your every request. The rooms are very well appointed, and the breakfast buffet is wonderful with something for everybody. Only about 35-40 rooms/suites, so you will not see a lot of people in the hotel, small bar, or seating area. On a quiet street without a lot of traffic, so it is unlikely you will walk out and find a taxi--but the front desk will call one for you (but the taxi meter then starts at 7Euros). Best to use Uber which was very fast in arriving (less than 5 minutes) and no need to use any cash.
wanted a boutique hotel walking distance from most sights with a view of the Eiffel tower. this hotel did not disappoint. the view from the small terrace was exceptional, even at night. the suite was pricey but worth it. took someone who had never been to Paris before and she loved both the room and the feel of the hotel. my only complaint was the 35 euro per person breakfast which underwhelmed and took away from the rest of the "value" i felt i was getting. especially since the breakfast was basically croissants, with a few ham and cheese slices and some bad bacon. avoid the breakfast rip off and everything else will be 100%.
The staff is outstanding! When we arrived the doorman got our "taxi" driver to reduce his ripoff fair. The concierge got us reservation at a restaurant we have been trying to visit for years. The front desk arranged for a local pub to provide on TV the NBA playoff game we wanted to see. This is the type of service we would expect at the Four Seasons Hotel for half the price. It's Paris the hotel is in an older building, so the rooms are not perfect. But the service was so good we really did not notice. Our room was clean and had everthing you would expect in a five star hotel. If you spend lots of nights in hotels this is the type hotel you hope to find, if you travel rarely you might not appreciate this leve of service.
Very authentic hotel, I could see the Eiffel Tower from my window. Comfortable rooms and good service. The staff was very friendly and helped to solve the problems with check-in. I will definitely come here next time.
Visited for a big birthday last April. Second time we have stayed there and it is truly magical. Great rooms, helpful courteous staff, superb location. We have stayed in a dozen hotels in Paris including the Meurice and this is our favourite. Remember the Movie "The Way We Were"? They played a game, best this? best that? The answer for best small hotel was the San Regis, and they were right!
Hotel was understaffed- there was no doorman and only one lady handling check in and guest enquiries. Not 5 star hotel standard at all. Halfway through checkin she had to excuse herself to find an umbrella for another hotel guest. The room was so unacceptable we refused to sleep in it and checked out. While the staff were polite and tried to make us stay by offering to move another bed into the suite to replace the sofa bed, it was not enough. Furthermore, we were not given a discount for the night we had to pay for despite not even using the room for more than 1 hour, even though the manager had agreed with our concerns and understood why we had to check out. Not enough was done to compensate us, and we are so glad we did not allow this to ruin our trip to Paris and had checked out. We booked a suite with a terrace overlooking the eiffel tower. It was represented in photos as being large enough to comfortably have breakfast on the terrace, but when we checked in, the terrace we were given was so small we could only manage to stand on it. We had asked for an extra sofa bed at extra cost, but the sofa bed was so mediocre no one could have been expected to sleep on it- it was bent, and the mattress was so thin, I'm not sure it could be called a mattress as the metal frame was felt when one tried to lie on it. The actual room itself was small, and there was mould on the ceiling- disappointing for what is supposed to be a five star hotel.
This is a very well-located mid-size hotel close to the luxury district. The surrounding is pretty quiet. The hotel is in a classic building and offers decent and in good shape rooms. The expected amenities for such class of accommodation are provided. A real valet car parking would be appreciated (public car park are nearly 1 km). A fitness room is also missing but this is seldom found in central Paris. Room service and breakfast are of good quality. Price are not cheap but in the range of similar hotel.
