Cute and very elegant hotel in a very nice neigbourhood of Paris. It's so nice decorated and styled. Very friendly staff. My friend make a mistake in booking...And staff was really helpfull to find a solution! Thanks for that. Breakfast is really nice in a very cute breakfast room. Only disadvantage... Rooms are very small (like often in Paris), the elevator too (it's just ok for putting your luggage in) and sometimes you can have an sink odeur in some of the rooms. ( happend to me several times while staying in this hotel)
Stayed here for 1 night with 2 friends in a triple room, on a quick stop over in Paris. The hotel is very inviting from the outside, the design element combined with excellent value is what we chose it for and it did not disappoint. Lovely entrance, friendly welcome, room located right at the top of the building and even had a view of the Eiffel Tower! The room itself was small but for a triple that was no surprise. We loved the windows, that you could even open, the big mirrors everywhere and the cute design elements. The bathroom was lovely and very clean and even enough mini toiletries for 3 people. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we had a brunch booked at Le Claus but the breakfast room looked lovely and inviting. A real luxury on a budget feel. Perfect for what we wanted, thanks Hotel Paradis.
... why not stay here. Hotel presentation is fine and being so close to my office, is ideal for me. Facilities very basic including breakfast (coffee is good), but not really that important to me. Staff welcoming and efficient.
Stayed for 1 night and found the room quite dark decorated , small and not really convenient if you would like to do some work. There were no chairs only a stool. Breakfast was ok but beside that there are no other facilities. If you are a tourist for a short stay this probably works better.
Very friendly service - I got into my room although I arrived very early which was so practical. I come here for the lovely atmosphere, pretty design, good location and the price. The area around is great for foodies, many nice little restaurants - many of them very veggie-friendly (it's france so that's not common!) and organic. You can walk in about 10 minutes (fast, 20 slow) to the Marais where you'll find lots of shops and even more typical parisian cafes. But there are also some metro stations around. I was positives surprised by the breakfast, fruit, cereals, milk-alternatives… nice for such a small hotel and I loved the smell of the croissants I always woke up to. I really like that the shower gels, shampoos etc are by Malin & Goetz and CO Bigelow, adds a little extra charm. TV is only french - but who comes to Paris for watching tv anyway. Bathrobe, slippers or minibar are not there - Not super necessary, but might be nice to have? I had a lovely room: 703, it's a little hidden and the ceiling pretty low (don't choose it if you are really tall) but you can get a glimpse of the Eiffel tour from the window. Wifi is on the weak side here, but you see the Eiffel tour… so. And it has a small bathtub. I will come back hopefully!
Hotel Paradis ticked every box for a weekend in Paris. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the interior design was creative and the price was, in my opinion, very good value. Little touches such as the soaps in the bathroom (good brand my girlfriend assured me) and the ercol chair at the desk were the finishing touches. We didn't stay for breakfast whilst there so can't comment on this, but the lobby and dining area looked nice. Also some cracking restaurants nearby including Richers, Le Chenin and L'Office. Nice work Paradis!
This was a simple base for a weekend visit to the city, and it's simplicity was its allure. Not too far from the Gare du Nord and good Métro connections, and walking distance from the very centre of Paris and from Montmartre, it is ideal for those looking for a low tariffs hotel.
To be fair, we only stayed an hour or so. We didn't see the charm in this hotel. It has a quaint elevator but it's tiny and takes a very long time. Very. Long. Time. By the time we got in the room, the hallway lights had gone out. The room was cleverly designed but felt dingy. And the WiFi is scary bad. The neighborhood is kinda sketchy. I was told not to go a block in a certain direction after dark. This is a cleverly-designed hotel but didn't feel like Paris. The other couples in our party refused to stay and we all left. I can't say I was sad about it. Maybe this used to be nice and it's under new management?
Hotel is located very convenient just 8 minutes from Gare du Nord (railway station) and within reach of the big shopping streets (rue de la Fayette). Yes, the rooms are small. But most are in Paris. All rooms are decorated differently and with a unique style. Enough nice restaurants in the neigbourhood. Save to walk at night. When walking to downtown Paris (Louvre, les Halles) you have a good view of the surroundings and lot's of shops.
Positive thing; * Sweet, smiling, helpfully and welcoming staff, who can speak a little bit English. * Charming but very small hotel with winding staircases and doors that binds. * Small breakfast buffet, but there was what i needed and most of the food is homemade. * Good towels. * Cleaning every day. * Good soap and cream products in the bathroom (good size of the bathroom). * The hotel store your hotelcard when you are out. Not so good; * The rooms appear like the photos in here, they are a little more worn. * Extremely cold rooms. * Air con did not work, we found a radiator and turned it off, for but it was not enough there was still very cold. * The radiator had been put on a brick, very strange. * The windows are leaking a bit. * There are not very many outlets in the room especially near the bed.
