A 15 min walk from Gard du Nord and 5 mins from 3 different Metro stations makes Hotel Paradis a great location for exploring Paris while being easy to get to the RER line B for Charles de Gaulle airport. The extras were very welcome - kettle, mugs, bottles of water, green tea. I brought tea from home and the hotel staff gave me a jug of milk which was really nice of them. We checked out the night before as we had an early flight home and they also printed our boarding passes for us to save time at the airport. We were in room 305 which was very comfy and cosy. I would recommend it. The only downside was noise from nearby rooms, but can't blame the hotel for that!
If you are 6ft don't stay here - double beds short in length. Rooms small but typical of Paris in this price range. Toilet smelt a bit. Staff first 2 days amazing. Not quite the same on our last night. Last night noticed no new bottled water in the room. Rang down and told first night 2 free bottles of water in the room after that you have to pay. Second night they had replaced one bottle so thought little of it. How pathetic - if that is the deal tell your guests, they can buy more at the corner shop but not at 23.30 - so was stung for 2 euro a bottle! And was asked to collect it from reception. Oh and the sheets feel Super hot as a nasty plastic mattress protector under the sheets. We paid around 130 Euro a night.... think we could have found a better deal elsewhere. I would have rated it a 3 but for the water issue.
This is one of many small hotels across Paris. It’s on the better side and is located in a cool, slightly-edgy area though perfectly safe. Rooms are average, nothing special, but clean and pretty. Small breakfast buffet, acceptable. Only gripe was the air conditioning unit that continued making a noise after being turned off…
The room was not as bright as I thought it would be. In fact, it was so dark especially at night. The room lights didn't help either. Moreover, the bathroom door knob was on the brink of breaking off so we couldn't lock it. I get it, it's a small boutique hotel. Honestly, it was cute. However, the bathroom was very bright white and clean. A total contrast from the bedroom itself, which helped making me feel better. Amenities wise, they only provided teas in the room (no coffee). They gave three tubes of shampoo and conditioner, but only two for shower gel (there were three of us??). Front desk was helpful, especially with booking a cab to the airport for early morning flight. Btw you'll have to leave your room key at the front desk whenever you go out for safety reasons, and I'm not complaining for that. Lastly, this hotel is within walking distance to Gare du Nord, Galeries Lafayette, a smaller Monoprix, and several metro stations. Also franchise restaurants and coffee shop are really close by, so don't worry about food.
I loved this little hotel: its small, but has character, and I found the staff to provide excellent service. The breakfast was quite lovely, and the hotel itself is in close proximity to the metro station. I would come back here the next time I visit Paris!
Simple hotel located 5 minutes walk from Bonne Nouvelle station. A very compact elevator serves this the various floors in this small hotel. Free wifi is available and worked well. Stay was let down by the lack of space in the room and a damp like smell in the room. Breakfast was simple but light.
The rooms were small and outdated, our safe didn't work and we asked for it to be fixed but it was never dealt with. Whenever you leave the hotel they ask to take your key and then when you return they ask for your name but no ID to get your room key back. We were able then to ask to keep our key when we left and they were okay with that. The lift/elevator was really small. We were only able to fit one person and our bags in it at a time. The staff was friendly to us. Overall the location was not far from the main sights or a metro, and for the price it was a steal. If we went back to Paris and were on a tight budget we may stay again, but would also look into other options.
Cute and very elegant hotel in a very nice neigbourhood of Paris. It's so nice decorated and styled. Very friendly staff. My friend make a mistake in booking...And staff was really helpfull to find a solution! Thanks for that. Breakfast is really nice in a very cute breakfast room. Only disadvantage... Rooms are very small (like often in Paris), the elevator too (it's just ok for putting your luggage in) and sometimes you can have an sink odeur in some of the rooms. ( happend to me several times while staying in this hotel)
Stayed here for 1 night with 2 friends in a triple room, on a quick stop over in Paris. The hotel is very inviting from the outside, the design element combined with excellent value is what we chose it for and it did not disappoint. Lovely entrance, friendly welcome, room located right at the top of the building and even had a view of the Eiffel Tower! The room itself was small but for a triple that was no surprise. We loved the windows, that you could even open, the big mirrors everywhere and the cute design elements. The bathroom was lovely and very clean and even enough mini toiletries for 3 people. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we had a brunch booked at Le Claus but the breakfast room looked lovely and inviting. A real luxury on a budget feel. Perfect for what we wanted, thanks Hotel Paradis.
... why not stay here. Hotel presentation is fine and being so close to my office, is ideal for me. Facilities very basic including breakfast (coffee is good), but not really that important to me. Staff welcoming and efficient.
