Great stay .. ideal location

Excellent stay. Room was lovely and clean and the reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. One issue was on one of the days we could not get breakfast as nowhere to sit and we had pre paid for this. Right near to a metro station.

Good stay

It was a good stay in Paris. The hotel was friendly and nice to have free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water available 24/7 in the breakfast room downstairs. The breakfast was nice but it was extremely busy when we went and because it’s a small hotel it is difficult to find somewhere to sit so going very early is a must Rooms are small and bathroom was compact but very typical in Paris for smaller hotels.

Poor experience

It was a very poor experience staying st ibis starting from receiving an email 2 days before checkin stating that hotels.com overbooked the hotel and the room that I booked is not available so they gave us different rooms. During the stay the lift stopped working and no one bothered to get it fixed for 3 days. The breakfast is basic and is repetitive. The stairs carpet is completely worn out and doesn’t look like is cleaned ever. The AC didn’t work on the first day.

GREAT VALUE & FRIENDLY SERVICE

The concierges, including Eddie, were very kind and helped our stay be convenient. For example, Eddie helped order me a pizza at a local Italian restaurant that I then went to pick up for take away. The breakfast was great and my husband loved the orange juice maker! Overall design was clean and trendy, but my one recommendation would be to have more than one teeny, tiny trash can in the room - there was only a tiny one in the bathroom, no secondary one in the bedroom or near the desk.

Good hotel with unfortunate lackluster features

The room service and staff were very good, as was the check-in/check-out process. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The room and the bathroom were really small but I really didn't mind that. However, what was most off-putting is the lack of hot water and its sporadic availability. On several days I had to take a shower in tepid water at best. The carpeting in the hallways and in the room is in grave need of replacement, and the shower tiling could be cleaner. The location and the breakfast were good.

Great stay

Perfect hotel for our stay, mum and 2 teenagers. Room was what we needed, does need more storage space but we managed. Breakfast great, help yourself to tea and coffee all day. 2 min walk to metro, about 20 mins to Trocadéro on the same line. Would stay again
