Nice hotel located in a prime location area, but room was so small. Very good buffet breakfast. Wifi works good and staff is efficient and friendly. I'll recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay there again.
The location on Rue Mont Thabor, a quiet street, gives this hotel a prime position. I had a simply decorated, decent sized room on the ground floor. The sole window looking out into the internal courtyard. Usual amenities; safe, minibar, coffee maker, bathrobes and hair drier. The beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel does give a slightly under whelming impression but is okay for the price. It can be a bit noisy due to poor sound proofing between rooms and the loud clanging of doors as Australian tour groups return at 2am from their all inclusive, chicken-in-a-basket experience at the Moulin Rouge or whatever. The breakfast experience is excellent; a good buffet with very friendly and attentive staff. Just what you need when you're pouring a litre of coffee down your neck after a broken night.
Stayed for 5 nights in May, was using room by myself which was lucky as it was so small, had to put the suitcase at the end of the bed as there was no where else to put it. The location made up for this and really you are only there to sleep. Was a short walk to most tourist attractions and this was more important in the scheme of things. The breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly, Wifi also good and the beds very comfy, would stay her again if so lucky to return.
Checked in to the hotel and was given a deluxe room on which was what we had booked and was given one on one of the higher floors. Having stayed here before and enjoyed the experience and knowing the place I requested a room that was not at the front of the hotel as it can get noisy early in the mornings. The room was not large (but not many are in Paris), the bed however was huge and quite comfortable, the only problem we had in our room was that the air conditioning wouldn't or couldn't get the room cool enough. There are all the usual refinements that are almost the norm now i.e. a flat screen tv, coffee and tea making facilities , a safe in the wardrobe that you have to get on your hands and knees to operate as its in the floor which makes life difficult for some. the bathroom has a shower in the tub and a glass screen. there are the usual shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and also a wall mounted hair dryer. The lifts (elevators) in this place are tiny and will only take 2 people plus bags and you can wait for quite a while as other guests get there before you. On entering the hotel 3 or 4 times a day after shopping or going for lunch, sightseeing etc. not once over the four days did any of the reception staff say hello or even acknowledge us as we passed through the tiny lobby. On checkout we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay but just had the bill put in front of us and once paid the receptionist disappeared into the back office not even asking if we required a taxi. Totally lacking in the personal touch we feel that on the next trip to Paris we would rather try another hotel
We recently stayed in this lovely hotel. The staff were very welcoming when checking in. We were early and had a 20 minute wait before our room would be ready. We were guided to the bar area where we could relax and have free tea and coffee, and use of the WiFi. It was a lovely quiet area to relax in. We had a standard double room which is quite small. However, it is comfortable enough to relax in. The room is clean and quiet. There is a Nespresso machine, but you only get two capsules, even if you stay more than one night. You can get more from reception at a cost of .50€. The location is brilliant. We managed to walk to the Eiffel Tower in about 40 minutes. The Lourve was about 5 minutes walk. We were also one block from Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden) which was nice to walk through and relax in as well. One thing I thought was a bit odd was that the towels were replaced each day, even though we hung them up for re-use as per the little notice regarding caring for the environment. For those that are staying a bit longer, we found a laundromat called Laverie Automatique about 5 minutes walk away. Very handy! It saves hand washing clothes with nowhere to dry them, or paying what I consider a silly amount for someone else to do it for me. Finally, note that the elevator is small (four people max).
We very recently stayed at this hotel in Paris it is in a perfect location for sightseeing and restaurants with what I find very important when travelling a coin operated laundry very close. The staff are very, very helpful they certainly helped us we were having such a good time we forgot days and missed our train. The girls on duty went over and beyond to help us sort out a new train and overnight accommodation in Milan This Hotel supplied a very nice buffet breakfast the rooms are very clean and quiet
My partner and I just returned from a 3 nights stay at the Duminy Vendome. The hotel is small, quiet, within walking distance to some great Paris landmarks and only few minutes away from to the Tuileries metro station. The reception team was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived until the very end. There is a little bar with comfortable seating, newspapers and complimentary coffee & tea available during the day, a reading room next to reception with more newspapers & magazines and a relaxing outside patio with tables and chairs. We stayed in room 212; compact, but well appointed and functional, quiet and overlooking the inner courtyard, with a comfortable bed and lovely pillows. The wardrobe is too small for 2 people and we would have appreciate some hooks where to hang our stuff. The safe at floor level is difficult to use. The bathroom was clean and fresh with plenty of fluffy towels and bathrobe replaced daily. There are ample power points to plug in all your chargers and the Wi-Fi speed is fine. TV and air conditioning worked well. The lifts are small dreadfully slow. The breakfast room in the basement is lovely and served a great selection of food buffet-style ranging from cereals to eggs; cheeses to charcuterie; viennoiseries to yoghurts. The team of waitresses were efficient and polite. All in all we had a wonderful stay and we hope to return soon.
Very convenient to all the attractions yet quiet enough for a great vacation. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Even though there was a problem with flooding in the lobby and the water t the hotel had to be shut off for a time. The staff handled the situation perfectly. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers.
This hotel is located near the Jardin des Tuileries, the Saint-Honoré market, Rue Saint-Honoré as a famous boutique street. To go to this hotel, you should get off at the station Tuileries on Paris Métro Line 1. I saw an elevator with a folding door for the first time in my life. The elevator is not wide vey much.
As soon as you walk in your sense of smell tells you that you have made the right decision. A lovely fragrance welcomes you and the staff that checked us in are amazing. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and pillows for a good night sleep. Location is a huge plus. Walking distance to the louve and tour company. The breakfast is solid with the option of having it in your room. The only negative would be the loud doorman from the hotel opposite.
