Fantastic hotel, ideal for short stay and so close to the train station. Staff were lovely, very helpful and accommodating. We had a top floor room that was perfect for our needs, continental breakfast for an additional cost but well worth it. We would recommend this hotel and stay again next time we visit Paris.
Nice hotel near the North Station in Paris. It got all the services and comfort you may expect from a 3 * hotel. The staff is really friendly and the rooms clean and pretty. Breakfast is good too, organisation is however a bit messy. If you're in Paris for a short stay; this hotel is a perfect fit.
We visited Paris for a 3 night break and this hotel was a great base for exploring the city. The rooms are decorated nicely and very clean. There was noise from the streets below during the evening but we expected this from a busy city. A nice little hotel and wewould definitely consider staying here again!
This hotel is just 2 mins walk from the Main Train Station (Gare Du Nord ). The staff was very helpful and they provided us room in the Top Floor with Balcony which was the best room. Yes the streets are noisy but you have the sound proof so ensure the doors are locked properly. There is a hostel just 10 meters away from the hotel where you have amazing bar, live music etc. It's pretty happening. The rooms are not that big but they provide you all the facility. Would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel.
Pay ahead for breakfast at ten euros or it’s 12 in the morning. Cosy rooms have hot water heater for tea. Windows block out the noise. Conveniently close to gare d este and even closer to gare du nore
This hotel is perfect for exploring Paris. Close to Gare Du Nord and Metro stations.Staff helpful and nice clean rooms. Mine was recently refurbished. Good buffet breakfast and will always stay here when in Paris.
i chose this hotel looking at rave reviews, but i am surprised and disappointed. only positive is it is close to major train station. i couldn't sleep much due to terribly loud street noise all day and night long (yes, there is traffic non-stop even between 12-6am). wifi is very poor and it doesn't work many times. reception people can't speak English. breakfast was below par (cold scrambled eggs, improperly cooked boiled eggs). owner must improve insulation to fix road noise. until then i strongly recommend against booking this hotel.
We booked this hotel based on a last minute bargain deal and due to the proximity to the Gare Du Nord station, which is just five minutes walk away, and stayed for one night this week. The hotel is small and located on quite a busy intersection which can get noisy. For this reason I would suggest asking for a room higher up the building. We stayed in a double room, room 46 on the fourth floor. The rooms are tiny but very clean and for us, wanting to spend more time exploring Paris than spent in a hotel room, it was perfect. Breakfast was not included in our deal and was an extra charge of 12 euros per person per day. Breakfast was very basic but buffet style so we were able to eat plenty to keep us fuelled until later in the day. Breakfast included boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, small sausages, bread slices, baguettes, jams, nutella, cheeses, ham, salami, fruit salad, juice, coffee, tea, water, croissants, pain au chocolat. We found the reception staff to be extremely helpful and courteous and our room was ready on arrival (which was earlier than usual check in time). On check out day we were also able to keep our bags in a bag room in the hotel, without charge. Only other thing of note is the 3.50 euro local tax charge to stay in the hotel, which is normal across Paris and was clear to us when we booked. Pleasure staying here and would do again.
Holiday trip for 3 days to Paris, central hotel not on a noisy street , Hotel Albert 1er was the perfect choice. After a 16 hour overnight flight the bed was like sleeping on a warm cloud!. Reasonable breakfast but the most accommodating and polite staff made this s very special hotel.
We stayed here for a long weekend. It is very near Gare Du Nord, so just a 35 minute RER ride (€10.30) from CDG airport. It is just off a main road in and out of the city so has great transport links, although we walked everywhere. The one downside of this is that it was a little noisy on the Saturday night, but this was to be expected for such a location. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the size better than we had expected for Paris. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. You do hand your room key in each time you leave but this wasn’t an issue and means you can’t lose it when you are out. There were plenty of good restaurants within about 10 minutes walk.
