This apartment was located in a great area. We were 20 minutes from anything we wished to see or do. My work was five minutes away. The apartment is large enough for two people to be comfortable. The king bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. There was a washer/dryer in the unit's kitchen, and the kitchen was small but had everything we needed. The bathroom had been upgraded, and the water was immediately hot with good pressure.This apartment is technically on the 2nd floor, but that means three flights of stairs for those reading this with heavy luggage. We were met at the apartment by a representative of the landlord and shown the apartment's details. We did not use the TV, but it did appear to work. We used the WiFi, but it was extremely slow. We did not use the air conditioner, but there may be an issue: there was extensive mold damage on the wall beneath the unit, and the paint was peeling from the wall. The heat worked well. The floor-to-ceiling window in the front opened to the street, which was great for watching the neighborhood. The other windows also opened for ventilation.There is a pull-out couch that we did not use. This couch needs to be replaced as the exterior is heavily damaged. The rug on the living room floor was also not clean. The apartment could have used a thorough, detailed cleaning. The building was very quiet. We felt safe in the building and in the neighborhood.
