Hotel was decent enough considering its price and at a good location if you need to be near La Defense. Check in was very good and staff very friendly. Hotel offers no room service and it's also a students residence. There is no room service which can be bothersome, but for a couple of days it's fine. Room is not too bad and has a good space. Bed is good. Overall, you get what you paid for.

So, if you are Asian visiting Paris, most likely you want to stay in the 13th District and have close proximate to public transport. This hotel fits these criteria very well. For secure, it is just a few steps away from the police station. For rooms, it is large enough to have a good space for 2 people (with full and queen size bed) and the room for 4 is large enough to have 8 people having a good conversation. Beds are quite comfortable. Linens are not changed every day. It is about a 5 minutes walk to a bus stop that will get you to the Olympiad station. As you walk to the main street (Tolbiac), there are many restaurants and shops that you can dine or shop. It is also about 20 -25 min. walk to Tang Freis, a big supermarket. Our group was kind of noisy at times when we gather around for late night and had no complains. Good hotel (at least for Autumn).

Pythagore Grand Arch is good value. I just needed something small and cheap, so ideal for my needs. The kitchenette is a great facility and overall I would recommend for someone looking for a cheap alternative to a more expensive hotel.

Good- Budget apartment with dishwasher, tea kettle, fridge freezer, microwave and electric cooker (quick and fast) Spacious 2 bedroom flat Cheap compare to other options. Close to business hub and La Defense station (7 minutes walk with 3-4 escalators). 2-3 Kids park nearby so if you have kids, could be an good option. Laminate flooring Reception speaks English. NOT so good: No daily cleaning or re-filling of bath gel etc. Toilet is separate and no vent. Laminate floor gets dirty and no cleaning done on regular. They do once in a week only. Not sufficient tea/sugar so need to buy your own which we did. Reception is little bit rude sometimes, but not too bad. Wi-fi information is not given properly so we wasted 2 days struggling. Reception opening time is a pain, when you need them they are not around. Our 2 bed room flat was on ground floor with no view outside. Overall good budget apartment but do not expect luxury.

I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here. I spent a semester abroad here and it is a regret. Paris is a place to enjoy, not to be burdened with concerns about your living situation. I wasn't given wifi for three weeks after moving in. They took around $200 dollars of my damage deposit off for reasons not stated after giving a perfect review of my room after checkout. I didn't receive my damage deposit until six months after having left the residence, despite making them aware the money was needed. Do not stay here!

I stayed at the residence during my exchange program in Paris. The good thing about this place is that it's in a quiet & relatively safe neighbourhood. The staff is mediocre, I think Audry was by far the most friendliest staff on-site so I always tried to find her if I had any problems with my room. But it all goes downhill from there. Having paid the premium pack (950 Euros) - (*Water, Electricity & Wifi was included), I expected the room to be in a much higher quality. When I arrived the furnitures was very dusty and the Cabinet was broken. The outside balcony was filled with massive spiders which was annoying to live with. The shower place was very small and especially with an Asian build, I had to squeeze in when I had to shower. Anyway, I will still be here for the next few months. I will keep my post updated if I have anything to say! One note about the service. The guy with the glasses was very condescending so I didn't bother asking him anything.

I stayed at the residence during my exchange program in Paris. I appreciate the fact that the residence is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood area close to the metro station, business schools and a big shopping mall but if you have to stay in the La Defense area, do NOT choose this place. What I disliked the most would have to be the completely unfriendly and unprofessional staff .They aren't helpful and will not even try. If you need to stay in the area, for the same price, you'd easily find some other nice and clean studios with pleasant people.

Don't go to this "residence"! I was renting a room there because I did an exchange semester in Paris, starting in september. - the furniture is broken and so is the floor - the room is very dirty - the bed is super small (like 60 cm) - there is NO WiFi - the bathroom is full of MOLD - there is NO electricity (you have to call the electricity company by yourself and order some) - in my fridge were MUGS AND INSECTS!!! - the air of the room was filled with smoke - the promised fitness room on the web side is closed ..... In addition the stuff was very unfriendly, they are not interested in you or willed to help you with anything. It was a terrible experience to go to Pythagore! It was so horrible I couldn't stay there one night and I didn't! They should pay you 800€ for staying there!!! Of course I never got back my 400€ I had to pay in advance... Most horrible place I have ever been to!!!

I'm very unsatisfied with the residence. Wifi, boiler, tv etc are not working. Most of all what is wrong with staff. Why r they so unhelpful and try to be bossy? I'm not sure the staff with a glasses knows the meaning of customers. Very disappointed with staff's rudeness and services.

I have been living here for a year now and fortunately have a spacious room. I agree its a bit overpriced but it has many facilities included which many other residences do not. Additionally the staff has always been helpful to me especially Mr. Jose. I feel quite safe here and its good that there are transport means, supermarkets, a church, the post office and parks nearby.
