We checked in around 3 , but quickly left to go out around and do some things. When getting back to the room later that evening. We had found the bathroom door frame was covered in blood. The front desk attendant was lovely to deal with. She came and cleaned the door. However we had our dog with us and we were unable to be accommodated to another room. This left us feeling very uncomfortable about the cleanleness of the room going forward.. certainly put a damper on the stay.

After spending $170+ dollars on a room, for 1 night, that had access to the outside, I was less than pleased. It was just a standard room with 2 beds on the ground floor. Carpet was dirty. Only saving grace was the coffee maker. There was no event in town at that time and the room was booked well in advance. I should have stayed at the Capital for $124 as I normally do but I figured I would give this one a try. Never again

Great room and staff! When arriving, the area to get from the street to the hotel parking area was so crowded with tractor trailers it took a couple of minutes driving around to find a way to the hotel parking. Other than this issue everything inside was fine.

Overall it was a pretty good stay! Clean rooms, quiet area. Having exterior access to the room is very convenient. Only reason I have 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because the pillows provided were not regular sized. Would stay again.
