The ancient village of Tywardreath is just 3 miles from Fowey, a sailing town on the stunning south coast, the perfect base for seeing this stunning county and its dramatic coastline that includes golden beaches, quiet harbour villages and breathtaking cliff-top walks. The south facing village of Polkerris has water sports options, such as kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, along with the traditional touches of sand castle building and rock pooling.
Fowey, home to a royal regatta and cultural festival each year has deep sea fishing, dolphin spotting trips, sailing and kayaking along its famous river. Try your hand at mackerel fishing for the evening’s alfresco dinner back at the house, or stay in Fowey for an estuary side dinner in one of the many cafés bars and restaurants that the town boasts. The town is a network of narrow lanes with local galleries, bakers and plenty of craft and gift shops.

We had the best time here it was perfect everything you needed and more.
We had the best time here it was perfect everything you needed and more. The pictures don’t do it justice it was very spacious even with our giant pup in tow. Proper home from home with the most beautiful scenery. Some lovely shops close by also with fresh produce. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly we couldn’t recommend enough we will definitely be back!
