New host
Exact address not listed or given for check in process. Tried to follow map pin from listing and got us to neighborhood but not the actual building. After an hour of struggle and a patient Uber, we use a security guards hotspot to connect to VRBO and call the host. Finally get the actual buildings name. Upon arrival, the building security has us check in then they need to call the owners to verify. Host didn’t communicate with building security about hosting so they had no knowledge.Gas on the stove never worked. Host delivered a air fryer as a substitute. Appreciate that they were communicating and trying to troubleshoot. Still didn’t work though… we made do.Listed as 3 bedrooms. There was a third but it was more of closet that didn’t have AC. Third friend just slept on the couch. It was comfy.Balcony drapes were an issue. The drawstring was jammed so couldn’t retract. After passing through it over the week the middle piece started coming off the rail. Didn’t communicate it to host, my fault, cause thought it was a known issue. Literally attached with staples.Host was mad on checkout about drapes, sure understandable. Clearly an easy fix with a stapler though. Also mad that AC was left on and apartment “dirty”.There were no checkout instruction/requests and we literally swept, mopped, did dishes, and laundered towels. Tried charging 3x listing price for cleaning, AC, and stapling drape. Lol
