Holiday Terrace Motel

Great view with the balcony, the rooms are a bit dated but for the price (compared to surrounding hotels) is good. Close to everything. There was no shampoo provided in the rooms just some bar soap so plan on bringing your own.

The room was nice and it was clean. The parking spaces fit our SUV easily, the view of the beach is very nice, and the wait for an elevator, to take us from our sixth floor room to the beach level, was never long. Holiday Terrace is located along the least crowded section of Panama City Beach, but it is still close to all the activities/shops/restaurants. The hotel abuts a wide stretch of soft white sand leading out to crystal clear, emerald green water. I will be back.

Check in was easy. Bedding (mattresses, pillows and box springs) need to be replaced, and mattress covers need to be added. Bathroom commode handle was broken but workable. Perfect location with beautiful view of ocean. Kitchen was clean and had everything needed to cook and had dishes with flatware. Outside grill was a plus. Easy free parking.

We had a wonderful time! The rooms were roomy and balcony view was great!!!! WE will deF be back!

Pros and cons about equal. Nice sized room with ocean view and right on the beach. Though my confirmations said 2:00 check in, staff argued that it was 3:30. Still couldn't check in until 4:00. Nice warning signs everywhere that we'd pay $50 per hour if we checked out late. Maid service was bare minimum - took out trash and provided clean towels. Sometimes made up beds, sometimes did not. Never made up all three beds at once though, which was odd. Floors were disgusting and maid didn't bother to pick up hotel towel that i'd used to wipe kitchen floor with which was nearly black.

I love this hotel. It is right on the beach. I have stayed here 3 times with no problems. Very short drive for fast food or a run to walmart and publix.

Everything was perfect for our family of 5! The guest room bed was hard as a rock. Other than that everything was great!

The room was outdated with CRT televisions and spring mattresses that were outdated. However the room itself was extremely clean with nice fragrance throughout the room. The balcony over looking the beach was a plus. Service was also good. To my delight there was a coffee maker but no filters, not even at the service desk. I would probably stay there again but there was nothing about the stay that would draw me back.

Really worn motel but it did have a nice view of the ocean. Not much of anything within walking distance. Parking is limited and people seemed to gather and hang out in the lot.. Strong smell of marijuana was noted several times while out on the patio. Please note that our visit was during the spring break period.

Room was outdated but still cozy. Loved being directly on the beach. Just walking distance to it or i could enjoy the view from my balcony. Staff was ok. Didn't have much interaction with them outside of check in and check out. Overall I enjoyed my stay and i would stay again

I am very disappointed with my stay. The heat did not work and we were not given the option to switch rooms. I was also told that manager would provide a refund but it never happened. The manager would not even return my call. The beds are hard as rocks just to add to the issue!!

Check in was easy and the hotel was just right for what we needed. Great Beach view from balcony and it was great to have the kitchen to prepare meals when we wanted. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They kept us informed as hurricane Irma was coming. Great vacation and great stay.

It was great! The only thing I would change would be a better bed it was really uncomfortable! Other than that it was great!!

This place needs major renovations. It has an overall seedy appearance. The rooms are drab and depressing. The elevators are rediculously slow, etc......

This is an older hotel. The room was clean and staff was nice and helpful. We were dissapointed that the pool was so small but loved being so close to the beach.

Over all we had a great stay. Just remember to pack a hair dryer. I wish I had known before hand that I needed mine. Can't beat the view from the balconies.

The rooms need some updates but other than that it's a nice place with friendly staff!! Will definitely stay there again!!

We are use to staying in Wyndham resorts but decided to try something new on the Gulf side of Florida. Holiday Terrace has a great location, within walking distance to pier (you are not swimming near the pier) and shops. The laundry facility had an iron (no irons in room) 2 full sized washers and dryers $1.00 per load each. The room was nice and large- 3 beds for 2 adults and 3 children. The bed was hard and NO wifi in rooms. We ask the front desk if something was wrong since we couldn't get it in the room and they said wifi didn't go that high (6th floor). Very rarely you could get signal on balcony. Wifi worked great at the pool and even down on the beach. There is a wash station as you come off the beach, nice pool area and grilling area. They do keep an eye on the property with cameras on each floor watching the hallways. All in all it was a great spring break trip and I would stay again.

Although the place needs some updating, it was a centrally located and reasonably priced. I would stay again and recommend to others.
