The Carillon Community is beautiful! The staff were excellent, we had golf rides to and from the beaches and pools. The beach was nice. They have paddle boards and kayaks that guests can check out and use on the lake. The lake was very peaceful, too. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The only complaint I have is the sofa bed. We were traveling with our 2 children. The sofa had stains on it, and when pulled out, it was nothing more than springs, no cushioning on it whatsoever. We were refunded $50 which we used to purchase an air mattress for the kids to sleep on. $50 off a 6 day trip really isn't much. (We had booked an extra 2 nights outside of the Orbitz stay.)

Carpet needs to be replaced. .only one coffee cup.

It is hard to critique this hotel in it's true nature since Hurricane Michael had changed things for so many. The staff was kind but they neglected to put gift bags in our rooms someone sent us but were closed by 8:00 p.m. so we could not contact them to get them till the next day once we found out. Our room had torn cushions, rusted lamps and shelf above bed was dirty. Linen was clean and the rest was overall was clean... We could have used beverages as we got in late but none were offered in rooms and all restaurants in hotel were not operating. As I said, we are not sure this is a fair review due to the hurricane but we had expected a bit more.

Went for a wedding the week after a large hurricane. The staff was still courteous and the wedding went off at the resort as planned. Kudos to the staff for that! Room could have been a little cleaner, looked like a hurried attempt, but given the hurricane I can understand that. Pretty little resort.

Furnishings were old, worn and outdated. Carpet was dirty. Hallways could use a good power washing. Everything needs a fresh coat of paint. Sofabed was torn and dirty. For the nightly price, it's about time they reinvested in the place.

The good : Beautiful private beach, safe neighborhood. Clean room with beach chairs and more. Nice country music when we entered room. Room for improvement: The USB ports and room phone did not work. Tv was not easy to operate, 4 remotes! I guess you don’t need tv on vacation... Disappointed that there was no manager reception as stated on website. We arrived on my wife’s birthday, let receptionist know, it would have been nice to see a complimentary drink or something...

The amenities were amazing. Private beach, awesome pool, great courtyard, and close to the action of being at PCB. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. We would come back to the hotel for what it offered.

Staff very friendly and helpful They accommodated my late checkout request Without a hassle Even the cleaning crew was very friendly

Disappointed. Could not check in after 10pm (almost not able to check in due to weak signal for a phone call, what if one could not make a phone call for checking in?). It was the first time to know the office hours were so limited.

Hotel decor a little worn and no tv remote but overall stay very good.

Outdated and worn out furnishings. Booked ocean view got lake view. Molding falling off counter. Worn out pillows and bedding.

Con: First of all, the room configuration is very strange. It's a suite with living room and a kitchen, but you first walk into your bedroom, then the living room and the kitchen are inside behind the bedroom. A loose wooden blind on the window in the bedroom so others can actually peep into your bedroom if they want. Then the room is relatively old and dirty. You can feel sands everywhere on the hardwood floor. I took out the extra sheet and blanket for my kids at night. My kids started to complain they can't sleep with sands. I then checked the blanket and found lots of sands on it. I suspect they were even washed after the use by other guests. Pro: Staff is very friendly. The hotel is so close to the beach and the beach is absolutely gorgeous.

We truly had a wonderful time staying at the Carillon Inn.

Was told it was 5 minutes from beach but staff was speaking of their own beach at property. Room was much smaller than expected. Only one bathroom for four people which wasn't good. Also toilet got stopped up and maintenance was off for the day. They did get us another room.

The inn is a good walk away from the beach. Felt like with this money, you could easily find something right on the beach. I found hair on the bed and sheets when i got in bed and it wasnt mine. Was a little grossed out. Bed was comfortable though. Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Water pressure was extremely weak and wouldnt drain. Had to cut my shower short to two minutes since i allmost flooded the bathroom. Its a solid 2-3 star inn that is pet friendly. Not worth the money though.

Old carpet with stains, loud refrigerator, puddle outside the door, but beautiful area and amenities. Ours was a pet unit but usually they are cleaner. Maybe non pet units were nice.

Really enjoyed our stay. The room has a small kitchen; just enough amenities to prepare lunch and breakfast in the room. It is right across the street from a nice Publix store. The property includes a housing community, which back up to the beach. The room faces the lake, but there is multiple beach access points if you walk 5 minutes to the back of the property. There are 4 pools, one pool is right on the beach. They don't clean everyday, but offer a linen exchange. Great value for what you get.

The room was perfect that offered all the amenities for a semi-lengthy stay. It was a short walk to the beach and walking by the houses was perfect each and every time. I will stay here again and soon.

Beach is too far from hotel area from shops and restaurants.
