The apt. was spacious but poorly furnished. Whitewashed walls, cold lights, NO DESK! NO HOT WATER in shower and one sink, while other sink only had HOT water (due to worn out faucets). The table was set up, but no other forks, knives and basic kitchen equipment anywhere. Tefal pots and pans were so worn out that I only used one to boil eggs. Waffle iron, Microwave, old fashioned drip Coffee Maker but NO water kettle! NO HOUSEKEEPING all week! Beautiful building but obviously not kept up. Good location, very good Supermarket in the back of the building. Restaurants expensive and not very good, but many good ones nearby. Walkable area.

This condo was excellent and felt high end and well cared for. It always smelled great and the kitchen was well appointed. There are three highly rated restaurants on site in the building. My husband was spoiled and wants to consider personally having our own property in the building. Emely was very responsive as needed. We would stay here again.

I got upgraded to an extremely nice unit. Everything was great and the place was big. The only thing wrong was no hot water in the kitchen sink.everything else was great. Fast elevators , decent gym and pool. The view was amazing and a little price you pay for the ocean side is balboa avenue can get noisy at rush hour. Other than that it’s a fantastic place

Upon checking in, we were a bit confused about which of the two entrances to check in at. One side is a hotel, the other are apartments. Apparently, both are rented via Expedia. When we got to the right side, the fellow at the desk asked for our apartment number. He did not have our reservation under our name. It was difficult to find the apartment number in our Expedia correspondence, but after a few minutes we did. The apartment we rented offered great views of the city, was VERY spacious, and exceptionally clean. The TV reception was fuzzy, but that's about the only complaint.

Overall, a cool property. Funky decor in rhe lobbies and elevators and great views. We also really appreciated the little grocery store. However, we arrived several hours early and the desk staff didn't seem to know what to do with us, nor did they offer to hold our luggage, while we went to find something to eat. The mattresses are super basic and the water heater must have a timer or something because it would stop producing hot water in the middle of people tryingvto shower after the pool.

Nice and beautiful apartment in Avenida Balboa.

We love and enjoyed our stay, the location and all the amenities and the one bedroom apartment is huge. Wish they have a better quality of pots and pans and microwave to match the quality and beauty of the apartment.
