First time staying at a Vrbo operated by a vacation agency vs a home owner. Communication was not great. The day of check-in someone from the agency reached out and told me to sign a rental agreement to receive house entry code (outside of Vrbo app) which had not been sent to me. I responded within minutes after they sent it to me. The company didn’t respond for hours, so I had to call to ask for house code minutes upon arrival. As a first time visitor of Rosemary beach area, it would have been great to know no LSV parking is available on the beach premises and no access to any beaches other than the public inlet beach. Public beach had very limited parking, great to let guests know to take bikes over not car. They had a book with info on the counter, I’d recommend adding those details for the guests to know who don’t know the area. Overall, the host didn’t communicate well. The house was fantastic, location was really close public beach. Bikes were easy to get around. Overall, I’d probably stay elsewhere on Rosemary/Alys beach side with private beach access, and a host that provides more information to guests. This is the first time I’ve experienced poor communication via Vrbo and a stressful check-in process. Not sure I’d stay again at this location again.
