You really can't ask for a better location. It is right on the beach and has an amazing view. The complex looks like it was built in the 70s or 80s but is actually very well kept. Kudos to the HOA and maintenance crew. The Condo, however, literally had my wife in tears. We rent our home in Augusta for Masters week, so it has to be very clean and neat, as any renter would expect. We then drove 7 hours to find a very dirty and tired condo waiting for us. There were actual dirt footprints on the floor that came off immediately with a lysol wipe. The sheets had not been changed. It's in desperate need of painting, and when they did paint it last time, they clearly just slapped it on because it's all over the door knobs. The drawers in the kitchen were pretty gross. The bathrooms seemed reasonably clean and are nice as they've been redone recently. The pictures were very misleading. On a positive note, the hosts did bring us clean sheets and they were extremely nice. Unfortunately we had to go buy cleaning supplies to make the condo livable without feeling gross the entire week. We also used the extra sheets to cover the couch while we were there.All in all, we would not come back to this unit, but would return to this set of condos if we had reassurances that it wouldn't look like this one. It was great to be able to walk our dog and there were only 1-2 times I saw where a dog owner did not pick up after their pet.
