Great location, comfortable room. Breakfast was very good. Waffles, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage tater tots, bananas, apples, toast, cereals, juice, coffee or tea. Staff was attentive and friendly. We did have trouble getting our room to the right temperature. They have the type of furnac3/air ...
The hotel location was ideal, located in downtown palo alto with tons of places within walking distance. We were there for a graduation at Stanford and was able to walk to the campus (about 25 min from hotel to center of campus walking leisurely) and enjoy the scenery and weather. We arrived earlier ...
stayed two nights on a business trip and have to say this was one of the most unique hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. The greenery and fountains, the room, the staff ... all very nice and a feeling of home away from home.
Excellent hotel in terms of room size and comfort and attentiveness of staff. Exorbitant prices for breakfast - $50 for oatmeal and yogurt. Nice location - close to highway and downtown Palo Alto is easily accessible.

Just needed an overnight stay and it was ver cozy.
Easy to get in and out to join the main traffic of I-80.
Good place to stay if you are visiting Stanford University at a relatively good hotel daily rate.
If you’re a business traveler, then the thought of staying in a “motel” probably gives you nightmares. But in this area where hotels routinely gouge customers with unbelievable prices, this is a great value and often more comfortable than a major chain. I’ve stayed in two different rooms on multiple trips, and both were recently renovated, with newer furniture. The fixtures might not be modern, but everything is clean and working. One of the rooms I’ve stayed in even had a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator. For the price, this really can’t be beat. One note of caution: since this is a motel, each room opens to the outside. It’s Palo Alto, but some people still might be concerned about security.
