It's not the hotel's fault that this area is overpriced. Options are fairly dumpy for ~$200 per night, or nice hotel for $600+ per night. The room smelled like they were trying to cover up smoke. The wifi was reasonably fast. I could hear a train at night until I put in earplugs. I wouldn't say that anything was nice. It was acceptable as a room to sleep in. The mini fridge was large and the microwave worked. There was a bedside lamp that didn't work and a network plug in the wall that was clearly duct taped in place. Parking was free though. Just don't set your expectations too high for any part of your stay and you'll be fine.
Clean but stayed in a room near the road lots of traffic noise. Loved the fish market restaurant was next door great food and drink.
They had everything you needed for a couple of days stay. The bed was comfortable. The fridge, microwave, was good. They provided a tv, coffee, air conditioner. Cons: the room smelled really musty and a little bit of a slow flushing toilet, but not bad.
Typical of the Palo Alto OVERPRICED Hotel NIGHTMARE that is status quo with the Stanford University, Apple, Google-sphere. All the hotels are basically hugely excessive in price vs. value....

See above- it has a musty odor, but it was relatively clean and convenient.
Comfortable room and bed. Easy access to amenities and Stanford. Friendly staff and basic breakfast in the lobby in the morning.
Reasonably priced for the area. The room was clean & comfortable. We were in the back where there wasn't much street noise. The continental breakfast provided was adequate and the coffee was good.
