We just spent one night in the hotel. The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious. There was a shady parking as well, but our building was separate from the main. Breakfast was good but wasn't very "colorful".
Arrived late night and nightdesk agreed on same rate as offered on booking.com. Hotel is in a suburb of Padova, in close proximity to the highway Venice to Bologna, Firence. Rooms wer decent and spacious, nothing spectactular. Wifi worked well and breakfast buffet was basic with all needed there, but no fancy. Fine for a sleepover, not for a longer stay.
We stayed there with a large travel group after visiting Venice. The service changes whether you are a part of a travel group or not. If you are an attendent of a travel group they behave you like a prisoner. No smiling, no talking, a basic breakfast (cereals, pastry, one type of cheese) in a big room under the real breakfast saloon, 2 euro wi-fi per device. The best part of the hotel is modern and big rooms. The location is so quite even if ti is very close to a business area. You cant find any store open after 19.00. There is just a pizzeria and a small pub if you go out after 19.00. There is bus passing in front of the hotel (line 15) but you have to find tickets to get on. I think it is not hard to find better hotels in the city center, which makes your journey more comfertable.
I have to agree with other reviewers, this hotel should not be classified as a 4-star. The hotel was clean and stocked(previous review mentioned no toiletries, there was shampoo, etc. provided.) The bar fridge, nor the heated towel rack worked. There was a large number of obnoxious young people staying at the hotel. We also had to call front desk regarding someone smoking in the building. Overall, the hotel was fine for 1 night. Not many restaurants or shops around. Good mall about 10kms away.
I stayed at this hotel the weekend of April 28th (2016) for 3 nights. I simply do not have enough kind words to stay about the staff here they are just amazing. First the hotel was booked for me in error as I was looking for a place in the centre of Venice. This place is not. It is a good solid 20 miles away. I panicked thinking I don't want to spend my weekend on the trains and then when I looked at the transfer from the airport for a single taxi 100 Euro's I was like ooh no. I called the hotel very late the night before I was due to arrive the gentleman on staff told me to call back the next day and the team would book a taxi for me. I called the next day which was the morning of my travel they asked me to send an email with all detail flight arrival my booking reference etc. I had three options, airport bus to Venice and train and taxi, a single expensive taxi or a taxi share. I choose the taxi share 33 Euro. All was arranged in a few short hours and when I arrived on a delayed flight from London someone was there waiting for me. I was the first drop off and was at the hotel in just under 30 minutes. The same gentleman had waited for me as this was close to 1 am and I was quickly checked in and asked if I needed anything. I felt safe and welcomed right away. The room was EXACTLY what I expected from a BestWestern. Clean, functional. I was not disappointed. The bathroom was a good size very clean. Yes the shower was on the small size and would be an issue for a big tall person but great shower head and totally clean. I was on the first floor and was not awoken by any excess noise or traffic that said I would have preferred a higher floor. I had breakfast the 3 mornings, fresh, great tea, great pastries a very typical all American/Italian breakfast, fresh bread and I ate as much as I wanted every morning. I took the bus to the local regional station and paid less than 10 Euros return to Venice and a fast train around 25 minutes 1 stop. I also took the train on day two to Florence 1 stop. All in all this place for me ended up being a gem. And very inexpensive for Italy which allowed me to have money left over to buy wine, cheese and leather goods all things Italian. So I would say be flexible especially if you have time (may be even rent a car) and stay here. Martina and everyone on the staff are helpful and you do get to see how Italians live and not just the tourist bits. For me I felt very comfortable, safe and totally enjoyed my stay in the Venice area this weekend. Don't let the distance stop you the trains and buses are super efficient and inexpensive it will make for an even better experience for you is my guess. I also did take the airport share back to the Airport. I would have been happy to take the bus and train to the airport except wine is heavy to lug around! The town/city of Padova is also very nice and work a few hour sightseeing.
We were on the Europe tour for almost two weeks. We stayed in this hotel in May 2015.The hotel is rated as 4* star but it is having facility and standard of 3*.Good ,decent hotel.Having small rooms and bathrooms. But okay to stay for one or two nights.Normally hotels in Europe have small rooms and Bathrooms. The continental breakfast was good. The varieties were tasty and of Good quality. They offered number of coffees. Particularly ,Cappuccino was really good coffee. We had not taken any meals here since Indian food is not served here. The hotel is having all basic amenities and clean and decent hotel to stay with family. I recommend it for the short stay. Rakesh Agrawal,Gujarat,India.
On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located, has a nice and quick service, friendly employees and a good breakfast buffet. On the negative side the hotel is close to a busy street causing lots of noise. The rooms are outdated and very small. A normal size person is almost not able to turn around in the shower (btw-they don't provide shampoo and shower gel). For one night it might be acceptable, but I wouldn't stay longer than that.
A good hotel in the suburbs of Padua. Easy access to the Autostrada to head towards Venice. Giulia our receptionist was outstanding. She was very good for information and the use of the Italian telephone system. The room was good and had AC. The breakfast was very good and had a nice personal touch.( service of coffee) bravo!
I have been a couple of times here on business. A "no frills" hotel but ideal for a short stay. Initially I was given a room in the annex block to the rear of the hotel, there was a very noisy air extraction system in the bathroom which could not be turned off! For sure this was going to prevent a decent nights sleep so I asked for my room to be changed. The staff did this without any questions and I was given a room in the main hotel. There is no restaurant, the breakfast was basic but sufficient. WiFi was free and the speed was reasonable. Lots of car parking space available. Overall for the price it is an acceptable hotel and good value for money.
I said here two nights on a business trip. The people at the reception were efficient. The rooms are simple with old furniture, bed and bathroom. It was basic for a business trip and since I was working all day and had the meals elsewhere it is acceptable. WiFi was slow and there was no decent desk in the room. Breakfast was mediocre, but the coffee was excellent. The check-out was efficient and friendly again. I have mixed feelings about this hotel, the staff was fine but the rooms and the location are not.
