The Sunshine Shores is the perfect beach house! This modern, charming home is just a short 2 blocks to the beach. Lovingly decorated with cheery sunny colors and beautiful driftwood art, and equipped with modern conveniences like Flat-screen TV, WiFi and a gas fireplace. The garage is stocked full of vacation fun with toys and bikes.

Location
The Four Sisters neighborhood of Pacific City is just a stones through away from the ocean on the west side of Cape Kiwanda Drive. This area is a small (about 25 homes), newer development of homes that are have consistent architecture and were designed for family vacations at the beach. Most homes feature upgraded amenities and a river-rock fireplace. There is a central playground for the kids.

Cancellation Policy:
1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 14 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Occupancy Note:
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

Great home by the beach

This was a great place to stay for my family for our beach vacation! It had everything we needed and was close to the beach. We would love to stay here again if we get the chance to come back! I only wish I had booked directly through the property management company and saved the $100+ VRBO fee. Kiwanda Coastal Properties was very helpful and great to work with!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for 4 teens and parent. Easy walk to the beach. We found enough cooking utensils to cook our meals. Things is recommended to improve the property would be make the back patio nicer.

Great location ; great stay

We came to Pacific City for a family reunion in Neskowin. This property was a perfect size for the 7 adults that stayed here. The kitchen was well stocked; the living room was cozy. Having a morning walk on the beach was an ideal way to start the day. My only complaint was how hard the pillows were. I’m sure everyone has their win preference.

Beach getaway

Affordable house near the beach. House was well stocked, clean, and the garage had all kinds of beach equipment so you don't have to bring anything from home. The only suggestion from my wife was that it would be nice to have some beach towels available. Short walk to the beach through a neighborhood. The only issues we had was the tv, xbox upstairs, and gate was locked so couldn't access outside shower without going through the house which defeats the purpose of an outside shower. The tv issue I was aware of from other reviews. I'd recommend bringing your Roku from home. Lots of games for the xbox upstairs but on a small tv but the cd tray wouldn't open so the kids couldn't play it. FYI, the access to the road that takes you to the beach is right next to the house but wasn't an issue for us.

Excellently Located Family Property

This quaint cottage was the perfect accommodation for our family of 7. Though not directly on the beach, it is a short 2 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach perfect for playing in the waves and the sand. The hosts were wonderful to work with and created open communication before the trip. We enjoyed the nearby hikes on the beautiful Oregon coast. This was a perfect family retreat!

Cozy house just a short distance from the beach. Perfect for a family get away

We loved this house--plenty of room for two families, a big comfy couch to watch a movie on before bed, a fairly well stocked kitchen, and a communicative property manager if anything came up. Just a block from the beach, and cape kiwanda is within walking distance. We had dinner at the pelican brewery. Loved it!

Spacious But Needs Attention

The house was the spaciousness and the kitchen well equipped. We would consider renting the house again. Several things could be improved. (1) Upstairs, facing the windows, the mattress on the bed to the right was very uncomfortable. (2) The upstairs shower door did not close. (3) Many windows were very hard to open and close. (4) The screen door had a number of tears in the fabric and was very difficult to open and close. (5) The dish washer had an unused soap packet in it and had water in the bottom when we arrived. (6) A number of dishes in the cupboards were still wet and dirty. We washed these and others before using them.

Great Vac Home

This house is in a great location just off the beach at Pacific City. We love the easy access to a private less crowded beach. The home could have been a little cleaner but management worked with us on that issue. They were very responsive and easy to work with. We will come again.

This place was awesome because it’s set up for kids of all ages. It was perfect for us! We had to freshen up the couch and couch pillows as it was a bit musty, but nothing some air couldn’t fix. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Loved the beach access and all the beach toys! We will return.

We loved it!

It was very comfortable once we did a little cleaning! The beds were comfortable and it was pretty well stocked, though the toaster didn't work. The bathroom floors had black hair and sand along the edges and in the corners and in the shower floor that we had to clean up before using. The living room had grapes and cheetos and cereal in the sofa and at the base of the sofa in the carpet that had not been vacuumed, so we vacuumed it up. The fridge had a lot of sand in the bottom shelf of the door that we had to clean before putting food away. The recycling bin in the garage was full of plastic bottles when we arrived. It was great for a family gathering at the beach!
