Recently stayed here for my sisters wedding. She also had her reception at La Zoreda. It was beautiful, the food was great and the staff had thought of everything! Rooms were really nice and had everything you needed. Exceeded every expectation I had and provided great memories for my sisters wedding! Love it!
Attractive appearance and impressive services. I love the hotel right from the 1st sight. Absolutely 5 star services with friendly staff and helpful suggestion. The breakfast is very nice in terms of quality of food and services. Smiling faces are everywhere. Feel natural and warmth. The manager gave a quick special tour to the core of the hotel facilities, the kitchen. Huge, clean and tidy, well designed for event and function. The spa facilities is a must to try. Superb hotel with reasonable price. Love it.
Our family of four enjoyed two duplex rooms across the hall from each other, and they were lovely - clean and quiet (even with weddings going on) with crisp sheets, nice slippers and robes, etc. We ate most of our meals at the outdoor bar area and thought the food was delicious and reasonable. Sometimes the waitstaff was slow and seemed to be covering too many tables, but they were all warm, friendly and professional. Some of the people at the front desk were excellent, and some need a little more training as a concierge to help families figure out what to do in the area, especially if they speak English and not Spanish. Unfortunately the property doesn't have a nice hike or even walking route near by. But seek out the park near by where you can rent bikes and pass some bears in a cage. The setting is beautiful and the train is easy and manageable for a family with all ages! Pack a picnic.
This hotel exceeded expectations on all fronts. Impressive entrance with a glorious chandelier and swags of rich fabric everywhere, A glass of cava to help with the trials of checking in; help with luggage right from the car and also valet parking ... I'm a sucker for the unexpected extras and here they didn't stop. A blanket for your shoulders on the terrace bar on a slightly chilly evening, offered by the world's best and and most pleasant waiter; helpful and friendly staff in general; an incredibly pretty room, a dream of a bed... My only slight whinges: I didn't overly like the set breakfast menu and there was a stain on the bedroom carpet which - if it just couldn't be removed - should have been covered by furniture it made you wonder what on earth the person had been doing to cause it. But honestly I'm looking for problems because I hate to gush, and this hotel provokes gushing. Do stay there if you can and if you're looking for total peace, quiet, relaxation and a bit of pampering.
What an amazing find, pure luxury in a fab location, views to die for. This is out of the world, rooms were lovely some of our group had smaller rooms, which with the size of the bed could make it feel a little claustrophobic. However the bed feel like your sleeping on a cloud. Reception staff were out of this world really helpful, they helped with maps and directions. They were a real credit to the team. We didn't eat in the restaurant, it was high end food which wasn't suitable for teenagers. They advertised a cocktail lounge/bar however when we asked for a cosmopolitan they didn't know what we were on about even when we showed them on the bar cocktail menu, after a little bit of funny looks and shrugging of shoulders they when and got someone else to come and make them. We did feel as if we were an inconvenience so the next night we just orders beers to avoid a repeat of the night before. Its a little out of the main town so finding somewhere to eat locally was a challenge but the reception staff assisted and they booked us into a local restaurant which truly was a local restaurant they all made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make us feel at home.
This hotel was by far the best out of the 5 hotels we stayed in throughout Spain, and one of the best we've stayed in anywhere, ever. It's in a lovely, secluded, wooded area and is very quiet, yet it's close to the freeway with easy access to Oviedo and other areas of Asturias. The facilities, and our room, were elegant, plush, and spotlessly clean. The food and drinks were outstanding (loved the bar!). The staff was truly amazing: everyone we encountered was professional, gracious, warm, and so helpful. Just go!
Stayed with my family, three kids, in early July. The hotel is truly beautiful, and the staff absolutely great - extremely attentive and kind. The restaurant was great too - truly fantastic food. Probably the best we had in our entire vacation in northern Spain. We found the grounds somewhat underwhelming, however, it was mostly parkingspaces. And the spa and pool was closed. It was thus not really a place to bring kids, nothing to do for them on the grounds. The new owners (they had just taken over), have many plans to change this, however, and I'm sure it will be even beter in the near future. All in all, an absolutely brilliant place for couples, not yet a perfect place for families.
This hotel deserves it's 5 stars. It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting a few km's from the center of Oviedo. All staff members are excellent, providing outstanding, friendly service. The room and bathroom very comfortable and the breakfasts and dinner in the hotel delicious. Would definItely return and recommend.
We came here as part of a honeymoon road trip around a lot of Spain.Of all the hotels we stayed in over a 3 week trip this was the best.We stayed in a few paradors on our travels and in 2 other 5 star hotels and they were nowhere near the standards of this hotel. Our room was truly luxurious and easily the best we stayed in.The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. We also ate dinner here and the food was also very good. The hotel is a 6-10 minute taxi ride(7-10 euro). If you are coming to oviedo this should be the only hotel you consider staying in.
We booked the hotel as the location is ideal to explore Oviedo and nearby area. The interiors in the main part of the hotel are really lovely however, we found that this wasn't the case for the bedrooms. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a review of smoking policies is needed in the duplex rooms. We had booked a duplex but were surprised to find an ashtray and the room smelt of smoke. We were offered a different room which was much better. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were attentive and helpful. Overall we were slightly disappointed.
