Ouray Victorian Inn

Room was nice. All rooms face river on the back but window is small. For $25 more a night we upgraded to a family suite and had balcony facing river. Breakfast included but just the typical fare, ok, but not great. Overall I would stay there again. Very clean and well kept rooms and property.

two nights in Ouray included day trip to another breathtaking mountain gem, Telluride, for lunch; owner of Victorian Inn very engaged with guests, accommodating and welcoming. On grounds picnic tables, hot tub, playground equipment, dog friendly; continental breakfast.

Most likely the cleanest motel room we have ever stayed in including the luxurious chains. Owners on site very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Great bed and oh those sheets! Convenient keep rental across the street and washer/dryer onsite to wash away the dust from our adventure. Excellent stay. Will be back!

This quaint Inn is located in a beautiful setting in the Gorgeous town of Ouray (the beginning of the Million Dollar Hwy). Our room was especially clean, quiet and overlooking the rushing river. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were especially gracious! Thank you for a warm and very pleasant stay!

We had an overall excellent experience here. The room was great, even though we didn't realize until we were leaving the day bed was a trundle and could have been bigger. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a little back porch overlooking the river which was great. We were close to Box Canyon Falls and all other things in the town. The breakfast was the least enjoyable part of our stay. The host was very stressed it seemed and having some difficulties the day we were there. The food was acceptable but not the best we had on our trip. There were great hot tubs and a great little patio area to eat at, which we definitely used. There was also a nice little place for the kids to run and play.

Our family of 4 stayed here and highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathtubs/showers recently updated and in great shape / good water pressure. Beds were firm and very comfortable, as were linens. Wouldn't mind more updated top bedding/cover, but acceptable. Balcony and being able to sit on the river and hear the rushing sound of it from your room was simply the best. So peaceful. Close to town. Accommodating owners and friendly. Breakfast was average but appreciated considering the price -- good value overall. Highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a very nice room with a balcony overlooking the river - great view out the front door too - close to town and the best hiking and (dirt)biking trails! Liked everything...except for the late breakfast - they don't serve breakfast until 7:30a.m. Good to know before you go!

When plans had changed and my family needed to check out early the front desk lady was very rude. With a roll of the eye she told me she would have to be on the phone fighting with Expedia for an hour. I told her I'd be happy to call. Her rudeness continued so I figured I'd let her "fight" with expedia.

My family was warmly welcomed. We entered our room to hear the lovely sounds of a river flowing by, which comes from the local Box Canyon Waterfall (literally next door). The room was very clean and had thoughtful items like a shoe/boot tray and "raggies" to clean up messes...very useful for a hiking and fishing family on vacation. The bathroom was the cleanest of any hotel I've stayed in and the tub was nice and roomy. Easy access to main street to enjoy the shops of Ouray but not too close to hear all the sounds. What stood out on this stay was how gracious the owners were when we informed them that our toddler had an accident in our room and that we tried cleaning it up the best we could. So very gracious! If you're picking a place to stay in Ouray, you will be very happy with accommodations at Ouray Victorian Inn.

We stayed one night in this charming inn during a trip through Ouray. It was a clean, comfortable room. The sound of the river behind the inn lulled us to sleep. Jan was a very kind host that worked hard to make sure our stay was memorable. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Ouray!
