Friendly staff and great price! Wonderful breakfast! Quiet and beautiful decor. Thank you
We injoyed our stay The breakfast ham was dry You might try keeping it warm in a crockpot with chicken broth
Very nice bed and breakfast in Ouray, CO. Attractive, historic home, with friendly staff and yummy breakfast. Room was a bit small, but that is in keeping with the homes of that period. One small inconvenience was that in the Shooting Star room, a porch light was shining into my room all night through the glass in the door. Either turning that light off at night or providing blinds on the door to block out the light. Otherwise, a very good experience.
The location was convenient for exploring the area - we could walk to trailheads, hot springs, and several delicious dining options. Room was clean and comfortable; the owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Very hospitable hosts, great room, great breakfast food, and very helpful in giving us suggestions on places to go. We followed Charles suggestions and had a 12 hour day of heaven. Jeeping through 4 mountain passes, and finished up our day being surrounded by Aspin forest of falling yellow leaves. What a blessing of great suggestions. Oh, don't forget the home baking and a real home cooked breakfast. What was bad about the place - that we didn't book to stay more days and go on more jeep trails - nothing wrong with the place or host! The China Clipper bed/breakfast/hostess help was better than we could have asked for - what a blessing.
Charlie and Melissa are excellent hosts. Melissa’s pancakes are the best! We really enjoyed our stay!
Getting woken up at 6:00 to the sound of blenders and banging pots and pans at $180 a night is a bit annoying. Pick a room upstairs
We really enjoyed the Victorian home and the beautiful architecture with all the decorative trim and textured walls and carpets. My husband and I especially enjoyed having breakfast in the breakfast nook because of the large windows. The breakfast was amazing and the couple who own the place are very hospitable and accommodating. I would stay here again if I come back to Ouray, CO.
We enjoyed the hot tub, the constant offerings of delicious baked goods and coffee and tea, which we ate while sitting on the beautiful front porch! We hope to return!
Beautiful B&B with gracious hostess and delicious breakfast. Will definitely return again.
Clean rooms, great morning breakfast meal, very friendly staff.
Very quaint. Friendly staff. Very easy walk to town.
I have had the lovely opportunity to stay at a lot of B&B’s in the U.K. This hotel replicates that wonderful experience, or perhaps exceeds it. What a treasure.
Needed a place to relax for a few days. Enjoyed our stay, staff very caring and helpful
