The Hot Springs Inn is in a very pleasant location right on the river, if your window is open you can hear the babbling sound of the water. The town center of Ouray is accessible by walking up the river trail behind the hotel about 20 minutes. There are good options for eating there. We would stay there again next time we pass through Ouray.

There were two items which kept me from giving this property an overall rating of excellent. The fan on the heating/AC unit mounted below the window was very loud, whenever it would cycle on and woke us up most times throughout the night. Also, the walls were not very well sound insulated, as we could hear the folks in the next room having a normal conversation. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side, just a shower, no tub, but adequate and clean. A bit on the pricey side at just over $900 for three nights stay, but competitive with other hotels in the area for that time of year ( late September).

Comfortable rooms and an absolutely stunning view. This hotel sits right on the river, and the drive up Million Dollar Highway made the whole trip feel like an occasion before we even arrived. The continental breakfast is a bit limited, but still good all the same. Overall, an excellent place to stay in Ouray.

The most incredible setting with a view and the sound of the river to relax by. They had to remove a dead tree while we were there. It was a weekday and while it did take away from the quiet, they efficient and it had to be done. The rooms were clean, roomy and the balcony is unbeatable.
