Bad info by hotels.com

Courses eruption and statement rer room facilities is wrong, an example is you state private facilities NO they are shared, tv No it is shared between 12 guests,. Should I go on, you charge 175dollars per night for a B&B i found later that i could have all the facilities at another hotel go 40 dollars less per night. Your cancellation policy date was before the actual date of booking?

Thank you Dave for making our first B&B memorable. Dave was very accommodating with food allergies and his gluten/dairy free breakfasts were amazing! The rooms are well decorated and comfortable. Dave is very knowledgeable of the local wineries and is a great resource for tourism.

Overbooking issue

We have not been to many B&B's but we took a chance with this one and there was one issue that took away from the experience. We had booked a room with a private bathroom and although the bathroom was not attached, it was just down the hall and seemed okay until later that day another couple was checked in to the room next to us and then they ended up sharing the bathroom. We called the owner who explained that Expedia has had issue with overbooking their rooms and in order to accommodate them, they have to use the spare room and share our bathroom. This was not explained to us when the couple checked in earlier and might not be a big issue for some people but it upset my wife. It was only for the one night and we had it to ourselves for the 2nd night. The saltwater pool was great and the breakfasts David made were amazing so that helped. You are probably better to book directly and choose a room with an ensuite if you require a private bath.

I have to say we were a little uncertain about staying here, but there isn’t a lot available at relatively short notice in Osoyoos in the summer, but saw the strong reviews and thought we would try it, and I can say without hesitation that we were very happy with our stay here and will definitely return. The host is friendly, knowledgeable, and provides a fabulous breakfast. The property and gardens are amazing -we didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy them but they are a beautiful place to relax whether in the shade or the full south Okanaghan sun. The rooms are comfortable and the beds especially so. This place is a home, and hence lived in but very clean. Within a few minutes walk you have access to a beautiful sandy beach, and the downtown area is only a10 minute walk but far enough away to keep the noise non-existent. Definitely worth staying here.

David is a super host, and his house and garden are amazing. The attention to detail, and the host's interest in assuring a great stay for his guests is unusual and very welcome. Highly recommended by all four of us.

Our room had its own bathroom, not all rooms do so something to be aware of. David is a great chef, and breakfasts were wonderful. Close enough to town centre you could walk to it.

a true little "oasis" in a hot area of BC! We loved the swimming pool and the backyard was gorgeous. Rooms were lovely; however, we were a bit cold in the downstairs room with the air conditioning on.

Love the Desert Oasis

David was a fabulous host and an amazing chef. I’m glutenfree and the food he made was delicious. The property is beautiful - “oasis” is an apt name. The room was private and comfortable. I’d highly recommend the desert oasis!!

Great experience nice room with AC Dave was a great host and the breakfasts were delicious. The patio area and pool was a plus definitely deserving as an Oasis. My wife and I really enjoyed our two night stay. Hope you enjoyed the coffee my wife sent you Dave.
