Neat apartment in great location

This is ideal if you are happy to be quite independent: there are no staff on-site, you can't leave your luggage there before checkin or after checkout. The garbage/trash situation is a bit complicated, and the compulsory trash bags are not supplied. However the instructions provided for using equipment were good. And when I had a problem initially accessing wifi, the staff member I phoned (after hours) was more than helpful and the problem was fixed quickly. The apartment has a fresh, modern feel and although small, it's very well organised with plenty of storage space. the location (between JR station and Shin-Osaka) is ideal for anyone on a Japan Rail pass.

Big clean room

The apartment is pretty new, big and comfortable with everything u need for a short stay (e.g washing machine, microwave, pots and pans for simple cooking). However there is almost no eateries near the apartment. Customers staying in thus apartment are also required to sort out your own rubbish and recyclablea which i found it to be a bit inconcenient and would love to have it done by the apartment staff instead of the guests.

Different concept for hotels, a great experience.

Our stay at Serenite Omedakita was way beyond our expectations. Exchanging hotel staff for improved amenities is a great trade off. Our unit had all of the comforts of home, clothes washer, cook top, rice cooker and microwave in the kitchen area. Slippers and PJ's also provided. The bath area was much larger than typical. Personally, I found the bed to be the most comfortable that I have experienced. Neighborhood included convenience stores, coffee shops and restaurants. The subway station is a few minutes walk away. Truly a great hotel concept to be experienced

Budget/nice and clean/disappointments.

Recommend to local travellers，not recommend for foreigners，especially the visitor whose the first time travelling in Japan. Advantages：nice and clean room, close to subway station, includes many washing machine, rice cooker, microwave and kitchen. Disadvantages: far away from umeda station, the directions they provided in comfirmation email which was not clear. The officer in station also spent much time to find it. Same as the direction for breakfast cafe, it is totally wrong map they attached in the file. We asked police and local people, they also confused about the map they offered. Even our package includes breakfast, but we can't find it and didn't have our breakfasts. I strongly suggest the hotel could cancel this service, because we spent more than 1 hour to search, we were very upset. I think there is a limitation for wifi service, only two mobiles can be connected to wifi. We have an iPad can't connect to wifi, even I disconnected one of our mobiles. If there is a limitation, hotel should list on the description. This hotel doesn't provide trash bag and request customers buy it.

Comfort stay.take about 10 mins walk from nakatsu subway sta. exit 1.taxi driver may not know this hotel. Could ask for the road name instead easier. Not easy to find if you don't like looking map! After follow the check in instructions. You'll get to room easy. This apartment is located in safe area.There's a drinking machine is near. Very convenient at room . There're everything you need for living; washing machine, microwave, fridge , kettle , sofa. There's breakfast coupon include but a bit far. There're no maid so you need to clean , collect trash yourself and seperate trash by law.

Nice hotel, close to Osaka station

Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to subway Mudosuji, Hankyu and JR. Walking distance to groceries, dry cleaners and family mart. Defly recommend for long stay in a room with cooking facility.

Nice for a multi-day stay. Small but pleasant.

This "mansion" is best for someone staying a week or so who wants to cook some meals and do laundry. It is cramped, and really only suitable for 1-2 people, but everything you need is there (fridge, microwave, rice cooker, laundry machine, o-furo, vacuum, TV. We were there a week, and didn't cook at all - only stocked up on coffee and breakfast foods. It is essentially a studio apt with a longish hallway that includes the kitchen & bathroom. A cozy place to crash at night, but not really to hang around during the day. ~ 12 min walk to Umeda, ~ 8 min to Nakatsu subway station. Easy if the weather isn't terrible. A few small places to eat nearby, as well as a dry cleaners and convenience stores w/in a couple blocks.

15min walk from osama umeda station. Theres no staff or information displayed so can make things tricky for new traveler's to Japan, however map of local area is provided. WiFi was terrible and dropped out all the time. Take your own hand soap and tea/coffee etc as none is provided even for your first night as you settle in.

Room is clear.but we find a long time to search the mansion,even the taxi driver don't know where is it.Almost need to walk 20mins from Umeda station.Its nothing around.we bought the bfast,but didn't go one time in our trip.The restaurant is not attach by the mansion,that need to walk 6mins from the mansion.Its no energy at all to find the restaurant again.

Good Choice of Stay! (No house keeping though)

It was our first time in Osaka. An we really found Serenite a very convenient place to travel around and to get to other places due to its short distance of only about less than 10mins walk to the Nakatsu (exit 2) subway station.There were two 24hrs convenient stores just about 5mins walk from Serenite. This was helpful as when all the eating places were closed at night, we could still get some food & drinks at the two stores - 7 Eleven & Family Mart.

Comfortable and private apartment stay

Very private and quiet. Enjoyed having a kitchenette and washing machine (very convenient). Location is good and within walking distance to Umeda and Nakatsu subway station. No housekeeping, you take out your own trash etc. Double bed was a bit small but quite comfortable. There is no reception but a very nice man who worked for the apartment was there and helped us when we were checking in at about 2pm. Really good if you want to stay at an independent living apartment!

Terrible hotel that is too small for 2 person.

The photos that were put up were misleading. The room is so small there is no space for walking once the mattress is out on the floor for sleeping. Truthfully this is only suitable for one person. The extra mattress is so flat that I can feel the floor. Terrible!

Great apartment hotel

Quiet area. A slight distance from Umeda station 15min walk and 5min walk to nakatsu station. Room is comfortable and clean with full kitchen facilities, decent size fridge, washing machine dryer, bathtube, hot water. Room is big by japan size, price is reasonable and response via email was prompt.

Somewhat close to the Osaka and Umeda JR Stations.

There was limited English (Thermostat, remote ext.) but overall my husband and I had a wonderful time. The price was right for our 4 night stay in Osaka. The room was small, but all we needed for the two of us. Everything was clean and tidy. There was no staff to bother you, but we did accidentally push a call/emergency button....remember everything was in Japanese, and two men responded rather quickly. It was a great place to spend our first 4 nights on the mainland. Someone difficult to find, but that was it's only flaw, in my mind.

Dont feel safe and bad value!!

Our room key was left in the unsecured mail room with my full name hand written. I had access to all other room keys left for guests yet to arrive. The price per night greatly exceeded hotels in the area yet offered no concierge/front desk staff.
