ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka4.0 out of 5.0

The ANA is a very nice Hotel in a great location in Osaka, only a 15 minute walk to the Train Station and the Hotel also offers a shuttle service which came in very handy. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the check in staff were very lovely. We were shown up to our room and the staff went out of their way to ensure everything was okay and we had everything we needed. There is a 7/11 just outside which also came in very handy for that quick bite before a day tour. This hotel also allows you to store luggage.
I stayed at the Plaza in Osaka during a trip around Japan. Ideally situated within easy reach of transport links, the hotel is reasonably priced with welcoming, friendly staff providing great customer service. Restaurant food was good and room service was efficient and reasonably priced. Recommended.
15 minutes walk to the Osaka station and so better note the hotel shuttle time services. Room is just OK as compared to my last two stay - Nov 2015 and April 2014 - I mean it is smaller. Maybe next time I should avoid the 20th floor rooms. Tired after whole day activity. Osaka is a good place to stay if you want to explore other places such as Nagoya or Hiroshima, which are just 1.5 hrs. away by Shinkansen. Bathroom is very good - hot shower is enjoyable. TV - you only have CNN Japan as your English option. Am ok with it. Breakfast is OK - again, as compared to my previous stay. But maybe next time, I will exclude breakfast package since Osaka station have a lot of options for early morning meal.
Hotel amenities were excellent, we were provided with free bottles of water every day which was handy as we came here as tourists. The lobby smelled amazing every time you walked through it and also the breakfast buffet was good quality. Only negative for us (but not really a negative in of itself) is that it is in a very business-y area and at times we felt a little underdressed walking around in t-shirts and jeans!
I absolutely loved how it is near every place that matters in our 5 days in Osaka. It was a 5 minute taxi ride away from Dotonbori, there were convenient stores nearby, and the train station is a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommended.
We booked this hotel as it was close to Osaka station which was handy. However we were made to feel like we didn't belong in this hotel, it's quite obvious their wanted clientele was businessmen so a young couple did not interest them. We had a lovely man show us to our room but that is where the hospitality started and ended. We visited 'The Library' (the bar) a couple of times which was nice but nothing special. We also booked this hotel because we love swimming, however we had to spend an extra 1,500 yen each for this! We did it our first night as the weather was awful out, we had the pool to ourselves (unsurprisingly with the price!) and it was VERY dated. We didn't visit again (although the staff there were lovely).
travel with group of family with 3 rooms . Have sent email request rooms could arrange in the same floor but when we check in says can't be done as room type is different. End up just one floor different is still easy for us. Thank you for trying the efforts for arranging for us. Rooms is clean and as Japan standard, is pretty big already. Every half hours shttule bus to the Osaka station, is good but will be better if is more frequent. Staffs are friendly but not speaking very good English. They try help most of the time which I am much appreciated. Will recommend to friends for this hotel.
Now the Club lounge is on the top floor it is EXCELLENT. OK, the rooms are small, a bit cramped even, but showers/bathrooms good. But the Club floor rooms with access to the new Club lounge make it worthwhile. It is expensive. But it is Osaka Japan. Great service. Take the Airport Limousine bus (it's no limousine, narrow, 5 accross & cramped but very easy & convenient) at bus stop 5 (JPY1550 each one way) to HARBIS Osaka (close to Osaka station) get off walk around the corner and under the flyover and there's a stop for a hotel shuttle bus. About 1 hour from the airport and another 10 minutes in the bus.
If you're looking for an Osaka hotel that is centrally located, has wonderful staff, excellent service, and endless dining options the ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka is your hotel! The staff were so welcoming and polite. Everyone was always smiling and genuine. We stayed in a club room so in addition to our daily complimentary breakfast, we had afternoon tea and cocktail service in the Club 24 Sky Lounge which has beautiful sweeping city views. Special thanks to the staff in the Club Lounge. You were the best. An easy walk to the Osaka train station; 90% of which is underground if it's raining. The hotel has numerous restaurants but if you cant find your flavour within the hotel there are endless choices within steps of the property. Nakanoshima Park is a short stroll over the foot bridge where coffee shops and restaurant/bars are waiting for you. Shopping is all around you and the famous Dotonburi area is 5 minutes away via the local subway system. Thomas M., the hotel's GM, was absolutely first class, suggesting things for us to see that were within walking distance of the Shinkansen (bullet train) stations. Thanks for all of the information and looking after us Thomas! No vacation is long enough. We were sad to leave and will return. Dennis & Maria
Arriving late at night there wasn't much traffic at check-in but the welcome received was warm and professional. The duty manager escorted me to my room to ensure that everything was satisfactory and then up to the Club lounge for a tour of what was available. The room itself was on the Club floor and facing towards the rear of the property - fantastic views over the city. The lounge is very comfortable with great views, staff in the lounge are always at the top of their game, and food offerings whilst modest are quite nice. Breakfast in the lounge is far nicer than that presented in the buffet downstairs even though it doesn't have quite the range. I have to say, the Teppanyaki restaurant in the basement level is outstanding, among the best that I have had anywhere, a little on the expensive side but worth every bit of it. My only negative comment that I would have, given my 5 nights there, was that the room was a little tired and scuffed in places - very clean and everything functioned as intended, but it was showing it's age and heavy usage.
