Check in was simple but you should be wary of why this place is hardly busy while the other ones are packed. The big bugaboo was the girl never gave my I'd back and after 2 days of trying to figure out where I misplaced it, we figured the front desk was the last place I used. No call from the desk on my cell or house phone. TV' were broke and the hot tub had that just peed in look. Make sure your shots are up to date.👎
I made a reservation thru the site to spend a couple of days in the Kissimme Rodeway Inn. The pictures looked good and the description looked good also. But what I got when I was there was something pretty different. First of all, I paid more to get a room with microwave and refrigerator and I couldn't get one. The front desk girl said the reservation was not for that kind of room and that there was no room with microwave and refrigerator available. I asked her a discount, but she was not allowed to do that. I understand her point here and she is just the person helping people there, she is not the owner and has no power to change stuff there. OK, then I got a no-microwave/refrigerator room. Once I entered the room, the flat screen tv was not there, the comforters in the bed had holes, every piece of metal was rusted and the lampshades were all stained and really dirty. While inside the bath tub to take a shower, I was under the impression that it would break into the floor as it was making freaking noises. The floor was dirty. No hair dryer. A couple of lamps were not working. Almost all tv channels from the tube tv were not working well, I have to do some synch before using it. I made a reservation for 3 people but got only one bath towel, so I had to get more in the front desk. Also, The site says we get breakfast, but there was no breakfast included, so I had to go to the grocery store late in the night to get some food to eat in the next morning prior to going to the parks. I spent around 30 dollars to get bread, cheese, ham, coffee and chocolate milk for all 3 of us for next 2 breakfasts. It was a terrible experience. I wish I had considered the site reviews before booking this room...
I reserved a room online via TripAdvisor at this hotel & got a confirmation number, credit card accepted, etc. When we arrived @ Rodeway Inn we were told that they don't accept TripAdvisor reservations. Since it was a very busy weekend in the Orlando area, we had quite an ordeal finding a room. We finally paid MUCH more for a room. I don't think I'll be using TripAdvisor again. NOTE: This review should not reflect poorly on Rodeway...
This is without a doubt the worst run facility I have stayed at in memory. When we arrived the check in procedure took forever, after arriving in our room we were ready to immediately leave but a quick check of surrounding hotels showed everyone was full. The room had a strong odor of mold and was not clean. There were four individual staying in the room but only two towels, I went downstairs to ask for some lysol and additional towels, I was told housekeeping have left so they could not get me any Lysol and they had no clean towels because they only had enough towels to supply each room with two. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were busy at the time and would have them come to my room, after about an hour we decided to leave and go buy our own Lysol and towels on the way out I saw a lady arguing with an employee and ask if they were the manager to which they replied yes. I told him my concerns she stated she would have some Lysol and towels in my room shortly so we left to get something to eat and did not purchase Lysol and towels only to arrive at our room and find nothing had been done. I went downstairs to speak to the manager and was told they had left the property. Even though I felt we would be better off sleeping in the car in a parking lot for some reason we stayed the night. Steer clear of this motel if at all possible!
I have so many complaints I don't know where to begin. The straw that broke the camel's back is.. Last night between 8-9pm they turned off the water, I couldn't take a shower. So i got up early at 4:30am to shower and clean up. Now there is water but no hot water. I called the front desk (oh there are no room phones i used my cell) to inquire and was told the maintance guy won't be in till 7am. I understand stuff happens but they could have at least done something to let the guest know there was going to be a water issue. 7:30am and the maintenance man is still not here. I drove 6 hrs yesterday and had to spend 2hrs trying to get a room change because the first room was a dump. There's so much wrong with this place it really shouldn't be open for business. For me this water issue is unforgivable, I would have understood if someone came around and said something. But they did not.... That's the last of a bunch of issues I've had with this place since i checked in at 5pm yesterday. ( also parking lot has 4 light out all the vehicles are in darkness, friends said they have roaches in their room) .....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Oh, and by the way I still haven't washed my butt, if for no other reason we got to get the FRACK OUTA HERE so i can bathe.
Syed and his wife Sanela are running a dump. They place is filthy and most of the room amenities are broken or worn out. Absolutely no resolution from management or owners and lack of response. They should not be running a hotel.
I have gone to this location for many years (when it was Red Roof Inn) and had no complaints whatsoever. The staff was always friendly and polite. They were the only reason why we ever booked here. Now they are under new ownership and have a new staff that is outrageously rude! Last night my husband went to the lobby to purchase some beverages and paid with a $20. The lady working the night shift around 10p was extremely rude and had attitude problem because he didn't have any smaller bills. That individual needs a class on customer service and etiquette 101. Because of your POOR customer service we most definitely will NOT be back. We will pay more money else where if that means we receive better service than here!
So from the moment I pulled in I got creeped out, it's not as nice as the pictures. I drove around the hotel first and there were people hanging out outside their room doors in little groups. it's right behind a plaza and it's not a great view. I didn't even go in to check in. I cancelled my whole 4 day reservation and booked somewhere else. BUT I didn't go inside the hotel, nor did I want to. So that's your call.
This place is fine for those on a budget. The pool and hot tub were both hot and clean. The room was clean. they wisely use fake wood floors, so there is no musty wet carpet smell like a lot of inexpensive hotels. the beds were comfy and the hotel is conveniently located to orlando attractions. really for $44 a night..no problems. I thought there was supposed to be a breakfast, but there was none. the area was also quiet and the palm trees on the grounds almost made me forget that it was such an inexpensive place.
This one the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, no phone in the rooms, no refrigerator, people with pets in the rooms, people hanging out in the stairs, this was not a good experience for my wife and I
