First let me state that this type of place is not really my cup of tea. It seems so over the top that it reminds me of being at a theme park in of itself. That being said I’ll put my personal opinions aside and try to focus on the pros and cons. Pros: the grounds are kept fairly nice and clean. The condo I had (3 bed 3 bath for one person, no idea why) was huge and very nice. I can’t comment on the price Bc we got a state rate for a conference but it was 150 a night for that huge condo close to 2000 square feet. The water park was nice and if you want more relaxed atmosphere there is a pool almost every 100 yards. Check out was smooth but check in was lil slow. Even though they said room service was by request only they came and cleaned every day. So IDK. Cons: the biggest and by far irritation is the guard booths. No idea why they have them. ....the resort is huge and not fenced with public roads running though it so anyone can walk in off the street. And all I did was just flash a paper guest thing that I could photocopy and distribute and come back whenever I want now. Pointless if you ask me. The water park bar service is sloooooooooowwww. And pricey. In fact the whole place is a cash cow. If yo stay in a villa or condo just bring your own food to cook and drinks to take to the local pools Bc no outside food drinks allowed at water park. That’s fine, but make sure people can get their hands on one of those pricey drink in a reasonable time if you make that rule. All in all if you have a large family and tend to stay a week or more then I guess it’s not bad as long as you eat and drink somewhere else. Also make sure you have your own car Bc the resort is huge and i can’t imagine its easy to get an uber through the guard gate.

Our family decided to give reunion resort another chance after many disappointing visits throughout our many vacations in orlando. Because of the price of the 3 room villas and availability, our family of 6 decided to stay again. Checkin - thank goodness that they changes their check in area from hideous couch and executive desk style to more modern check in area. Check in was smooth this time unlike last time where we had to wait so long. They did change their keys but it still got demagnetized couple times. This was an issue before and it has happened again with us. AND it is not because of the phone. I left my in my wallet to make sure. This is an hassle because you have to drive back to reception if your key doesn't work which is 5 mins drive. Villa - I didnt realize and no one told us in check in but no more room service. New management has changed it according to the reception staff. You have to request the towels, toilet papers etc. Extra cost for room service. I didnt like that. We always like big rooms of reunion and it is very reasonable compare to other places. We had light not working. TVs not work. Also please can you guys get some better quality screen resolutions. Shuttle- this is where I had most problem. I have complained about this on my previous stays and even to the manager. Reunion seems like they only operate one shuttle pretty much most of the time unless they have major function. I needed shuttle from the water park to the villa. We took our car to the water park but my kids and I had to.get back for the golf tee time while my wife and my little one had to stay back. We requested shuttle twice as well as other guests who needs shuttle. Ater 20 mins of waiting for shuttle, my son walked to the villa. It took him 10 mins to walk and he called me to let me know he is back to our villa and I am still waiting for my shuttle. By this time, we saw a shuttle pass by us twice. I asked my wife to drop me off to the villa. She did. I heard other guests saying that they are not staying here again. Water park- food service got better than last time. We had to.wait for so long for someone to take our orders. Food is still not that good compared to other resort such as omni. Breakfast- bad. It was bad paying 20 dollars for a breakfast that I could get free from homewood suite or embassy suite. Also the club house was getting renovated so I had to walk down the hall to temporary buffet area that is set up in one of the conference room. My omelet took 15 mins to come out. Staff was friendly. I called the manager Joey and talked to him about my concerns. He said that he will look into it but never got back with me about it. Overall not resort. Has not changed and not sure when they will get their services together. We arw going back to omni and Hilton. I will rather pay extra for impeccable service than mediocre. Very disappointed.

Yet another management-owner buy out let's see if these new owners can get it right so far its appearing to be same old same old . At 3.50am we were woken by an alarm which sounded followed by verbal instructions to evacuate the building. As instructed we wakened two others in our party who could not hear the alarm in their bedroom and evacuated down the fire escape to find fire personnel and flashing blue lights to be told by a security guard to stand away from the hotel until told otherwise .I thought fire drills for staff was compulsory God help any one in this hotel if there is a real fire no body checked which rooms had been vacated the night staff just stood in the entrance The security guard informed us that they were ringing all the rooms fat chance as ours didn't have a phone. Only 1 other family evacuated along with 1 man who asked what was going on.we complained to management only to be told sorry for waking us up .For gods sake it's not about being woken it's about the total lack of SAFETY PROCEDURES

We just spent 4 days in the resort, we stayed on the south villas. Refrigerator did not work properly, the ice and water was not coming out, called for front front office to report the issue, maintenance guy came after 3 hours, just to let us know, there was no immediate solution, but offered 1 case of water instead. Second day the safe was blocked, called again the front office, this time they came after 1 hour and half. For the money you are paying for these villas, service is terrible. Also, villas need some repairs, l dishwasher needs to be replaced, many electrical outlet on the kitchen did not work, furniture looks very worn, need replacement. Also, water park closing at 6:00 pm on summer time??? I won't ever come back to this place

Staying at one of the vacation homes at Reunion Resorts. Very nice and roomy for 6 of us. Nice to have the pool in backyard for these hot summer days. Had a couple cockroaches but that is Florida and hard not to have a few sneak in. Home is well equipped with a laundry room and full kitchen facilities. For the price paid would have been nice to have been left more than a couple days worth of items such as dishsoap, laundry soap, toilet paper etc. Other than that a good week and very relaxing. With kids you can visit the lazy river at the main pool...a fun 7 min float down the river.

Grounds were well maintained and staff was friendly but our room was incredibly run down. We found an eye mask on floor (they don't provide them so likely left from a previous guest), curtains had holes in them, and room was infested with milipedes. We stayed there for one night and killed at least six milipedes, I shudder thinking about how many were hiding that we couldn't see. I then received a survey about our experience and shared the issues we had in our room and received literally the most generic form letter back thanking me for sharing my concerns. With the amount of resorts to choose from in Orlando, choose another until they renovate the rooms.

I booked our reservation through Groupon. I reserved a one bedroom villa for two nights. The price was great! Check in was not at the main facility for reunion since it was a third party transaction. We did go to the main tower and they redirected us. It did say it in email but I overlooked it. Check in was a breeze. Our villa has two balconies, a full kitchen, large bedroom and living room. It has a large walk in shower and a soaker tub. We were beside a clubhouse but we were on the go and didn't get a chance to check it out. We did check out Eleven for drinks. So nice. I has read several bad reviews but honestly I have nothing to complain about.

Got a 3 bedroom place for me and the kids, my dad and in laws. Me and the kids on the suite. Day before leaving the bathroom got clogged. Looked for a plunger and was not able to find one....called them at 1PM and two more time after that. Found somebody that worked there near the pool and he called and said that it was taking a long time and the person was going to send somebody right over....They showed up at 5pm and bathroom had water all over. They said that housekeeping was going to be right over, at 7:15pm and nobody showed up. Water all over and I don't think they are communicating good with each other. Big lack of urgency and we had all the use the same bathroom since got no results it does not matter how many times we called them. Six people including 2 children.....just called housekeeping again....used many towels so we can use the bathroom for at least the last night but no use, too much water.i finished cleaning it all. Housekeeping showed up at 8:15....

We are 6 nights into a 14 night stay, review so far: Checkin: We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and when checking in they upgraded us to a 3 bedroom apartments. That was really good of them but not necessary as there are only 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child). Nice touch though. Resort: The resort is massive, so nothing to walk to. Our apartment is at the end of Heritage Crossing Way, miles from any of the amenities in the resort, so have to drive everywhere. Being from the UK, we are used to walking to places to eat and drink, so that’s not possible where our apartment is. The hotel has a few places to eat but we have to drive to them, but they are all over priced so if you have to drive to go eat you are better going off property where the options are better and much cheaper. There is a shuttle bus service to ferry you around on site, which is good. Service so far: There are apartments closer to the hotel, which would be within walking distance but when we asked if we could be moved to an apartment closer to the hotel, they wanted us to pay $120 per night extra. $1,700 extra for a 14 night stay was not possible given we had already paid circa $2K already. According to staff the resort is only 60% full so I don’t think it would be too much trouble to move us without any or much extra, so not impressed with the level of service they offered when we asked about a move. Short sited as we would have spent more on site on food/drink had we been closer to the hotel amenities. Apartment: They are big and comfortable, but very dated. The cleaning staff do great job to keep them clean daily but the apartments are much in need on renovation. Stains on carpets and couches, cracked floor tiles that are dangerous when walking with no shoes on. There are more modern apartments on site, but for an extra $120 per night, not worth it. Water Park: Excellent on site water park, which is pretty big and great place to have fun and relax. The food is decent but service slow. Golf: I brought my clubs as was excited to play the 3 signature courses on site courses, Palmer, Watson and Nicklaus. I played the Palmer on my 2nd day. What a great course and really enjoyed it. The greens had all been punctured, which we weren’t told, so this let it down and no discount offered. All the golfing staff were great, from the bag drop, pro shop through to starter. I called to book one of the other courses only to be told the Watson is being renovated and Nicklaus was having the sand replaced in all bunkers. 3 great courses on site and only 1 you can play! Oh and the clubhouse is closed for renovation, which is another eating/drinking venue not available and we were not informed of. I ended up booking and playing off property at nearby Champions Gate. Great course and much cheaper. Dining: We ate at Forte on our 1st night. It was ok, but over priced for what it is. The food at the Clubhouse looks nice and reasonable, but although they continue to promote it on site, it’s closed for renovation! The food at the water park is decent for your usual pool type fare. We haven’t ate at Eleven yet as looks well over priced for steaks etc, compared to what is available nearby off site. We haven’t ate at any of the other on site restaurants, for the same reason. Summary so far: All in all although we still have 8 nights left, we already know we will not be back and we wished we we’d stayed some place else. They advertise various amenities that aren’t available to use. We’ve stayed at other places in Orlando previously, so this is not our 1st visit to town but it is our 1st time with a less than positive experience.

Two-week vacation with teenagers and we spent it at the Reunion Resort. The three bedroom Villa/Apartment was huge loads of room for everyone. The beds are so so comfortable and a treat after spending the day walking around the theme parks and the shopping malls. The rooftop pool was closed due to renovations this was of no concern as there are an on-site water park and other pool locations. We stayed in the Sandy Ridge Villas and due to the location we didn't venture to the main hotel to avail of the amenities. The only negative I have of the Reunion is the price of golf. I was told by the reception it's $80 a green fee. Our villa looked over a fairway and green and we noticed how quiet the course was for the entire two weeks of our stay. I would recommend the Reunion Resort to anyone and I would return again
