Sweet Florida Getaway Home

Our family was so happy to stay here! There was more than enough beautiful & spacious bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our family. The living spaces were very nice & spacious and it was so relaxing outside in the pool area. This home was centrally located with many great restaurants close by. We were very pleased with how clean the home was! You won’t be disappointed staying here, we loved it!

One of the best properties and resorts in Orlando area

We've stayed at a lot of vacation houses in Orlando and this is one of the best. Super new. Great resort with lots of clubhouses.

Great place for making memories!—loved the home and our stay

We stayed for almost 2 weeks and our whole group really enjoyed this house. The kitchen was very large and spacious and fully stocked with the basic kitchen items we needed for making family meals. Plenty of bedrooms for our large group, with a hangout space and games (foosball and pinball) for the teens. The private pool was a blast especially relaxing after a long day at the parks. House is beautifully decorated and plenty of space for everyone—loved all of the decorating finishes and colors—beautiful in the photos but even more impressive in person. I would highly recommend staying here.

Badly managed and badly maintained. Will not stay here again.

I should have listened to the previous reviews! We had very similar bad experiences. Before I rented the place I asked the managment specifically if the spa was fixed and heating properly. They assured me all issues mentioned in the previous review were fixed. Nope. We paid extra to heat the spa and pool. The spa never got hot the entire time. It is just a jetted cold tub which is pointless. I rented this house because it supposedly had a hot tub that my special needs daughter needed. I told the managment this. They stringed us along the entire stay refusing to provide us with a phone number to speak to them directly. No one called us to resolve the issue like they should have. They sent a pool guy out to "check" on things. He took pictures and spent an hour in the driveway. He didn't speak English, he never even felt the water. The management just kept telling us to turn on the egg timers like we were idiots and said their assessment of the pool was that everything worked fine. Lol. They refused to refund my money for the pool/spa heat. I even offered to accept a partial refund. The spa heat charge is a total scam. This company is not interested in customer satisfaction. They blame the guest and avoid speaking to you. I wish that was the only issue. The water heat for this place in general is faulty. One shower only had hot water, one only had cold water. The showers are dangerously slippery. Many of us fell. There is no gripping on the floor nor any bath mats. The club house pool is a 5 mintute drive away and extremely overcrowded. We couldn't even use it. It is much smaller than the pictures on the website depict. Many of the pots were scratched. There were food stains on the rug and bean bag upstairs that weren't cleaned. The nails on the stair carpeting were not hammered down properly and cut our feet many times. Watching TV is nearly impossible. The remotes do not work consistently. We changed the batteries and made sure we were using the proper remotes for the TVs. We just gave up eventually. The complex smells like trash because they don't use garbage cans. You have to put the trash on the grass every morning in bags. I should have listened to the previous reviews! I will never rent from Shine Villas again. Not well managed, not well maintained, not accurately advertised, not a company who cares about customer satisfaction.

Beautiful home but with problems

The pool was dirty! I was told i was scheduled for cleaning on Wednesday but no one came to clean it or cut on the filtration pumps the entire week. One of the twin beds was broken, one of the adults had to sleep on the floor until the next day when maintenance came. Kitchen was filled with ants.

1 Star Experience

The host Oliver & the management companies manager (which refused to give their name) made our stay a horrible experience from day one. After paying $175 to heat the hot tub as this is an extra fee, the hot tub was freezing cold and was not working the day we arrived. The management company did not get this working until the afternoon the next day. After expressing our frustration with this, the manager insulted me stating they would refund us $11.67 and stated in writing to me “it is very little loss” to us. The manager refused to call me to speak about this matter and was combative and very unprofessional. They turned the heat off to the hot tub our last day as well. The manager stated the heat will only run so many hours a day and is turned off at 8pm. Last thing on host, in writing the manager stated if we were unhappy, they would refund our money and we needed to be out by 10am the next day. I replied asking how much our refund would be and I never received a reply back. We did stay the 5 days we rented as we could not just pack up and rent another place last minute and I didn’t trust the host on the refund. Our complaints about the rental in general. The location of the house is a 5 minute drive to the community pool. Not a walking distance at all. To get a drink at the community pool, plan to wait in line 20+minutes. There is construction of new homes being built literally across the street from this rental. Construction workers start hammering at 7am. I have two screws in my tires from this as well. They have no trash bin so you have to put all trash on the front grass by the road. The actual house is nice and new. It’s a shame the host was rude and unprofessional. Our group will never rent from this host/management company again. I’m writing this to let all know and caution you.
