First class treatment, luxury at its finest and the view in the morning from my room was the best! The room had very nice appointments, it was first class all the way around. The food and drinks were great! Staff is top notch and the golf course is world class!
A lovely relaxing and chilling place to stay. Can reach all parts of Orlando from there. The staff are so friendly. Have stayed there about 4 times now. So many restaurants a short drive away. Though lots of lovely food here too.
Stayed in the Lodge and played golf in January. The best thing about my stay was the buffalo wings, the portions are huge so you would need to be ravenous to have a an entree after having these. The whole club had a more laid back atmosphere than I expected. I had to make a pitstop before getting there to get cash for tipping of bell hops etc but there wasn't one! No cash on site at all actually everything is charged to your room, which is convenient although you can lose track of exactly how much you're spending. The bar closes at 10 pm which seems very early. the golf course was good, great condition. I would like to have known when I booked my trip that I would have to take a forecaddie, he was excellent and helped the enjoyment of the round but it was an added expense I wasn't expecting. I would agree with other reviews that the rooms seem a bit dated, no safe and no mini bar or fridge. Overall an enjoyable;e experience though and would recommend.
Loved being at the resort the week before the tournament, but the lodge is showing its age. Breakfast was really good, but not included on our package. Bar closes early, which is not a bad thing unless you are there with a bunch of guys who don't want to stop at 10:30. Close to many great restaurants, but I wish the lodge was more elegant with dinner options. We will always go back for the golf and for Arnie, but the lodge is ready for a redo.
I was here for a business meeting. The lodge itself has an 80s sort of feel. You feel like you’ve stepped into a traditional country club (with all the rules and restrictions around dress etc.). The rooms and baths have decent amenities and are not worn but have dated decor. There are no coffee makers in the room but there is coffee service in the hallway each morning (and Starbucks nearby!). I did like all the golf memorabilia. The meeting room was basic and without current technology. It was hard to regulate the temperature which created some discomfort for our group during our meeting. We would prop an outside door open until noise of crews setting up for golf tournament was too much. The banquet food and service was very good (5 for this aspect).
We stayed for 3 nights and had a great deal. Unfortunately we didn't get to play golf. Hotel is as all reviews state - welcoming with comfortable rooms and bathrooms really well kept. Fantastic memorabilia everywhere. We only had breakfast there as wanted to eat out in the evenings.
Stayed 3 nights played 2 rounds 2 weeks before the PGA tournament. The course was in phenomenal condition, the rough was up, so much so that if you were off the fairway there was a good chance you weren't finding your ball. I will have a new appreciation for the tv viewing of the tournament. The room was good, bed was comfortable and yes it is a bit dated but that to see was part of the charm of Arnies place. The Bay window was a great seat to meet people and have dinner. The staff was first rate from checkin to F&B and the proshop. Look forward to coming back.
Our stay here was great. The room was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Just like the rest of the hotel. We sat outside on our porch and everyone who passed by greeted us and were very friendly. Not something we get often. We only regret not staying longer but we will return again soon!
A rather quiet spot during the winter holidays, Palmer's is the cozy and welcoming resort of the 50s. You will feel instantly at home. The Golf course is very well kept renowned. It is also ideally located for a visit at Seaworld.
Lovely old fashioned golf hotel with very friendly staff good size rooms and authentic golfing ambience. The food was simple but well prepared and served with genuine warmth by the staff who were all happy to please. I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms overlooking the golf course were very pleasant. The golf course itself was a joy to play and the forecaddie very helpful. A must visit for serious golfers in Florida. On a minor note it would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room and a safe.
