Best analogy I have for this place is putting lipstick on a pig. Very cute looks just like the listing however, the place is falling apart. The bed was essentially covered with dirt (I always check the bedding when I stay at places like this). I decided to go to Walmart and get new bedding myself. The blankets had burn marks and what looked like boogers stuck to the inside of the blanket. The shower has no door to stop the water from flooding out. There was water everywhere in the bathroom and I can tell this is a common occurrence because the vanity leg closest to the toilet is swollen and peeling from water damage. Also there is no door to the bathroom everything is open so no privacy and humidity from the shower floods the room. Secondly, we had an issue with the fan light not turning off above the bed. The host advised us to find the breaker box and flip the switch to our unit. Took them about 30-45 minutes to tell us which switch it was (mind you it was about midnight). After we got the response to flip the switch we returned to our unit to discover that the keypad to the unit had died and we were now locked out. We went back and forth with the host for awhile regarding different codes and finding keys. All alternatives were ineffective including the code they provided to a key box that was incorrect. By the grace of God, the keypad began to miraculously work again after about an hour of being locked out.

This place is beautiful and well located. Ideal for a solo trip or a close couple. A good place to connect quietly even if it's to yourself. Seeing all the birds on the pond every morning is great. And it's a really good amount of outdoor space!

Review

Overall the stay was perfect!! Very cozy atmosphere with a great view of a lake. Super private area with lots of space to roam. Location was perfect, literally was close to everything. Very sad I had to cut my trip short but definitely would stay again.

Casa Luna

Casa Luna was super cute and very clean. Contact with the ower was excellent. She always responded quickly. We thought it was a little over priced for what we got. The cost of insurance you had to take with the property was a little excessive.
