Avoid This VRBO Rental at All Costs – Completely Misrepresented and Disgusting
This was, without a doubt, one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had.First, the listing is entirely misleading. The home did not resemble the photos online—what looked like a clean, well-kept luxury retreat turned out to be a shabby, poorly maintained, and borderline filthy rental unit. The moment we arrived, we were hit with a slew of red flags that only got worse throughout our stay.Cleanliness? Non-existent. There was hair in the shower, dirty bathroom mats left on the floor (clearly not washed between guests), and only one spare trash bag in the entire house. This is completely unacceptable, especially after paying nearly 4,000 for a four-night stay. To top it off, we were informed after arrival that there would be additional charges just to operate the home—a bait-and-switch tactic that left us feeling taken advantage of.The walls were streaked and stained, and the overall vibe was run-down and neglected. This is no “luxury” rental—this is a cheap, high-turnover cash grab hiding behind a polished listing.The location was another huge letdown. The home is sandwiched in a cramped development clearly built for high-volume vacation rentals. You could feel the “pack 'em in, get 'em out” mentality in every detail.
