We liked the location towards the East end of Astoria. Being right next to the Columbia River with the view of ships going by and the noisy Sea Lions right there. Glad the room was mostly sound proof to that though. The river walk path that was all along the waterfront all the way into Astoria. The Trolley wasn’t operating right then due to Covid, but it had a stop right there. $1/trip or $2 for a day pass. The beds were comfy and the room very clean. Didn’t really dislike anything except that maybe we had to eventually go home.

Fantastic view of the Columbia River and the bridge. Very well kept grounds and walking path to downtown. Super professional and helpful staff they were eager to please as we asked for extra towels pillows ect... very COVID-Aware good job of distancing just a great stay both in March and April for a week at a time. We think this is one of the nicest well kept hotels in Astoria. It’s not downtown but close... it’s in a clean and newer area as you come into town and 3-4 minutes to everything. Will stay here when rooms are available. Tim

Everything was shut down due to covid . I think that they could have opened more up. But that may not have been their call

We love watching the ships from the room. The staff a always great.

Very clean. Little pricey but was a very busy weekend with the salmon fishing.

Excellent stay, clean room Very good customer service

View from the balcony/window was gorgeous n the comfort of the bed made it a most pleasant stay!

We were in room 230. It was everything anyone could want. I love the mats in the lobbly with the positiive statement about making us happy. You did.

Have to go back! Beautiful rooms, awesome staff, and interesting sea lions

Beautiful view! I would pay the extra for a riverfront room. Be careful of the hot tub/pool. I have blond hair and went in the hot tub for 30 min, shampooed my hair after, and still woke up with green chlorine streaks in my hair. The staff was very friendly and the beds are very comfortable. Would stay again!

It is great to see the same front desk gal working when we check in after 6 PM. Give her a raise because she is amazing

Enjoyed our time there, comfortable was quiet, breakfast was ok

When I choose a Hampton it's because it's hotel-like. Breakfast served on paper plates does not, for me meet that standard. The cups in the room were also paper, no china mugs for coffee or glasses for beverages. A disappointing lapse in the normal high standards.

Clean and comfortable room but hotel clerk was not trained nor was the manager helpful. They had me sit in the lobby waiting for the manger to clear up a mistake the clerk made with my credit card. Didn’t see the manger for over a half hour. After my third time to the desk to see where the manager was she came out and apologized and that was that. Gave me my key cards and smiled.. won’t be back.

We love the view! We can see the best of Astoria right from our balcony. The kids loves the pool. Breakfast was ok. The hotel lobby lounge leads right to the river walk.

I have stayed here before, it's a nice place friendly staff. I Recommend to stay here

Poor kid working nights did not have access to anyone who could make a decision! Room smelt like mold. I guess it was directly over the indoor pool! When asked to move to another room I was told couldn't happen until I insisted then and only then did they move us! Young lady working the desk was all alone and other customers were really being mean to her! Shame on management to leave s kid working night shift all by her self!
