It is avery nice hotel and is the third time that I am a guest. It is a petty there is no cutle and mini bar. Then the hotel will be excellent. Nice swiming pool and quite location. very esthetic and pleasent public areas.
The speed in the WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) in my room was far to slow! It took more than 30 minutes after work just to download my e-mails from the same day! 256 theoretical kByte/second is not acceptable today.
I wasn't expecting it because the room photos didn't do it justice but this spot was a charm. It's a gorgeous location near the Schlosspark so it's up on the hill. It felt comfortable, modern, with a Erzgebirge charm. The breakfast was amazing! The pool was very nice, with blue tiles. The staff was -out-of-their-way friendly. I can't say enough.
Stayed here in August. Beautiful hotel for the price. Room tidied daily. Nice food. Lovely area . Will stay there again if I ever get the chance. The staff are great and also speak English as well as German.
whenever we have to spend the night somewhere around we select your hotel - parking, swimming pool, nice room arrangement, availibility of 3-person rooms, extra nice personel, tasty breakfasts, calm and green surroundings, short and simple access from the highway
Overall, the hotel is great, my biggest complaint is the internet service, even with the paid internet, it is slow and only good on one device. Actually, I can never get the "so called" high-speed internet to work on my phone. The internet which you currently have to pay for should be free and a true high-speed internet should offered at an additional cost. Also, the internet will drop off several times a day meaning you have to log back in each time. The rooms are good size, but need updating. Coffee and tea in the rooms would be nice. The staff at the hotel is great, always very friendly and helpful, the staff is the best part of the hotel.
The hotel is really nice, with pool facilities. Breakfast has varied options to pick from and it's very good. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The personnel at the reception was very helpful.
We stayed for a long weekend, during the Motogp. Nice clean hotel, good size rooms. Friendly bar and restaurant staff. Wifi is like something from the 1990,s. Didnt have time to try the spa or gym. They have a PlayStation set up in the lobby which was fun.
It's a pity that the hotel lost quality in terms of breakfast within the last two years. The Service is still friendly and nice. The use of the sauna is okay and the massages are recommendable. Internet is way to slow. Overall it is getting a bit long in the tooth. Due to the missing alternatives in Chemnitz I assume that they will not invest a fortune to refurbish anything in the future.
This is a comfortable hotel, in a quiet up-market residential street, outside Chemnitz centre. It is a pleasant walk through or past a park to get to the main attractions and shopping, but be aware this is not a city centre hotel. Parking is underneath the hotel and an additional eleven euro charge, although my impression was that there was plenty of onstreet parking available too, if you want to save the cost. Our standard room was spacious, with comfortable twin beds, good blackout curtains, free mineral water, although disappointingly no tea and coffee making facilities. Wifi was woeful. The Pentahotel chain boasts about its free wifi, but it's really useless, even for basic stuff like checking emails and social media. This is a real downside in this day and age. Bathroom was spacious too and had a good shower and decent products. We didn't take breakfast or dinner in the hotel, nor used the gym or spa facilities. Staff was pleasant throughout. This place lacked the style, charm and buzz of the Leipzig Pentahotel that we stayed in previously. It was fine, but nothing special.
