has 3 good bathrooms - great for a 5 bedroom venue. The large lounge area is also good for larger groups

We stayed here last year and we all had a great time.Unfortunately there were a few issues this year. There were no extra toilet paper rolls. 1 roll per toilet for 9 people for 4 days is not enough. We bought paper.We didn't use the oven last year but did this year. Nice large oven but the ONLY rack/shelf did not sit securely on the side rails. This meant that trays of food dropped to the floor of the oven. If we had a dish with boiling water it would have splashed onto the person opening the oven. We felt that this was a safety issue. We do love staying in this house that is why we were a little dissappointed this time.

The kitchen was adequately stocked but we would have liked salad bowls. Also we couldnt get the tv to work, not even for free to air tv. The house was comfortable, clean, well situated and we would certainly stay there next time we visit Orange.

We had a lovely few days with old friends. The weather was not too cold. We were disappointed that a lot of the wineries only open on Thursday to Sunday.

Great accommodation for group of friends

Found this property to fulfill what was needed for a group of friends. Centrally located to walk to city centre and close to a supermarket and coffee over the road.A lock inside in the shared bathroom would have been appreciated.Also the BBQ gas could only be controlled from the gss bottle.All agreed that we would come back.

Great location and house for our group. Plenty of living space and comfy beds. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. Was a bonus to have some basics in kitchen like food wrap and condiments.

Lovely house, great location, be careful of the oven!

We had a lovely stay. Super location for us. Heaps of room. Home is really comfortable, well furnished with nice amenities. Loved the coffee machine. Only negative feedback we passed on to the property manager - the oven is dangerous. Beware - trays do not stay put. They collapse. Needs to be replaced. Despite that we would def stay again. Thanks fot having us.

5 woman spend a weekend in Orange.

The Summer House was perfect for our little getaway. The location was excellent, the house was warm and comfortable. Great linen and towels. I would highly recommend The Summer House.

Location and charm

This gracious home was well-located and well-suited to a getaway weekend of friends. (That said, it would suit a multi-generational family group really well, too.) Large living spaces, comfortable bedrooms and great location are huge pluses. Showers were a bit tricky to manage---how to keep the water contained and not go everywhere..? And while narrow, the gap in the back door did let in cold air. It would be great to have a few more teas provided, and milk would have been appreciated. As you can tell, these are not big issues, and all were manageable. The overall vibe from our weekend was that it was a great place to use for enjoying the wonders of Orange and nearby.

Beautiful house. Perfect Location

We come to Orange every year for a family reunion and this was by far the best place we have booked. We had two families staying and there was plenty of room for everyone and having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. The house had everything we needed. Comfy beds with great linen and towels and the best location. Walking distance to everything you need. Can’t wait to go back.

Had the greatest of all experience l, enjoyed our stay. Convenient location, walking distance from shops and cafes. House was spectacular, more than what we expected. Family friendly. Would definitely be coming back here for our next trip up.

Great house and location

While the house and location were great, we were disappointed about several aspects Firstly there were only 6 wine glasses available for a house to accommodate 10 people, this was resolved quickly with glasses delivered by host The heating was inadequate, the weather was cold as expected however we were only able to get the internal temperature to 14 degrees on the first night which is uncomfortable, resolved the next day. There was a 1cm gap in back sliding doors leading into living area, added to the cold, we used newspaper to fill the gap.
