It's your basic minimalist hotel. Rooms are very small, few electrical outlets, no microwave and the walls are thin between rooms. The continental breakfast doesn't start until 7:30, which for some of us is late. This hotel is selling location, which is across the street from Woods Cove, a great beach in its own right.

less crowded area near beach and tide pools. Walking distance to main beach

Wonderful staff with a nice variety of. Real fast items. Not a hot meal but hearty enough to get you to lunch. Cereals, breakfast cakes, juices and fruit. Really close to the beach and walking distance to everything. We walked to main beach several times daily and really loved the free trolley when it rained which has a stop directly in front of the hotel. Crosswalk to the beach directly in front of hotel as well. Was too cold to use the pool but it looked nice. The room was really clean and my Marine husband stated the beds were tucked away better than Marines he served with. We will be back for sure!

Comfortable bed, easy parking, and relatively quiet considering we weee right on Pacific Coast Highway.

Its kind of an old place and nothing is THAT nice, but lots of attention to detail it seems. It's a nice low-end place to stay. And close to beach.

Nice place, close to beach, convenient free shuttle to downtown

Even better than represented. Great view and a lovely patio area for all to enjoy.

It's a little further down than most places we've stayed in Laguna - but it's a nice option if you're staying just one night. It's not a place where you hang out in the room. If you're going to be out all day at the beach or on the town or going to the Pageant - it's a good place to stay for the night. Room is small and tidy. A little loud - road noise but with air conditioning unit on - you can't hear. Curtains completely black out room. Didn't have breakfast there - even though it was offered. No coffee maker or fridge in room. Again - go to Urth Cafe or Madison Square Garden for breakfast - or even Starbucks. But if you want a yogurt or cereal - then this is good option. Pool is refreshing - but loud as right next to road. They have beach towels and chairs to take to the beach or use by the pool. That's nice. Can walk to the beach from hotel. Front desk staff is pleasant but a little ditsy. I'm sure she's much smarter then lets on!

The room was small but clean, you get what you pay for. The free city trolley runs on the weekend and there is a stop right across the street, you can access many beaches and downtown by hopping on. There is a small cove a short walk away where you can sit on the sand and enjoy the ocean or walk along the water's edge, there are chairs available at the hotel to take with if you like. There is a balcony on the hotel that faces the ocean, nice to sit out in the morning and enjoy your coffee. It's about a mile to the main beach, the trolley only runs from 11 to 11 so to get downtown before that, we walked.

This Inn was just what we needed for the night! A clean, quiet room to sleep and shower and a nice patio balcony area to view the ocean!

The hotel is perfect distance from the bustle of downtown Laguna. Great access to a small cove with a small beach across the street, the hotel has chairs and towels to borrow. The parking lot is a little tight but only a problem when the hotel is packed. Overall a great little hotel within walking distance of restaurants and the water.

Solves the parking problems for the beach. Free towels. See the Betty Davis home on your way.

The location is to die for! The rooms are small but clean. I stayed at the hotel for a week and only on the last night I was there was there cable. It had been installed earlier in the day. Also, I'm not quite sure why the hotel management has not upgraded from tube televisions. There were no phones in the rooms!!!! Never in my life have I stayed at a hotel and there were no phones. I also believe that there were clients from the treatment center a few blocks down who lived at the hotel. The owner of the hotel and treatment center are one in the same. I didn't want to stay in a hotel that has live-in residents. Otherwise the staff and accommodations were good.

The hotel room was very clean and quiet. Staff was very nice. They have beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas for you. The pool was clean and refreshing. Walking distance to a lovely cove and some great restaurants. The only draw back was how small our room was, it felt a bit cramped. The bathroom is huge as is the tub/shower.

We had a very wonderful stay. We borrowed a pair of beach chairs and towels and spent several days at the beach which was practically at our foot step.

I liked this place however there were a few issues: noisy guests outside my room which the management took care of, the bed was uncomfortable with awful pillows, very limited TV channels, no room phone and that's it for the issues. I thought the breakfast was goo, nice front desk personnel, clean bathroom, and good location.

We had a great time. The staff was friendly. We were close enough to walk to all the restaurants and bars. The ocean was right across the street. I loved that the hotel offered continental breakfast.

This hotel is a great value and fabulous location. The hotel staff is wonderful and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The light breakfast served each day is a nice touch as well. My only complaint was that there was a used towel in my bathroom, along with garbage in the garbage can. I am pretty sure my bathroom was simply overlooked during the cleaning process. Overall a pleasant stay and perfect access to everything Laguna has to offer.

This Inn is adorable and very clean. We loved the Jacuzzi in our room. The staff was friendly and it was in a great location right across from the beach. Will definitely come back!

The Cove at the ocean(one block from the hotel) is the best in Laguna Beach! And walk along Ocean Way for more expressions.
