Orange Beach Stay

Older facility, but going through major update. From what we could see the updates will make these units real nice. Views and access to the Gulf shore line was excellent. Gate keeper was very helpful and friendly.

No drapes in any room but master and those did not fit properly. Most comfortable chair in living room was Dirty. Floors pretty dirty.

Great vacation!

Condo is close to water, the pool was great and plenty big, and the beach never felt over crowded. The condo was well-stocked, the washer and dryer worked great, a/c was a rock star and great streaming options for downtime at night! Bring your own pillows 😂. For our stay, there was a keyed door which we aren’t used to. Was a little inconvenient always having to carry around a key. But that is minor.

Nice & Relaxing

Location was great. The property had a wonderful pool and easy access to the beach. Wish it had some beach chairs or an umbrella, but we made a run to Walmart since we didn’t want to rent every day. Just a note, if you want to be close to the water and want sun shelter bring an umbrella. If you have a canopy, you have to stay behind markers on the beach that are a good 100-150 ft from the water’s edge. We got a canopy before our 1st trip down to the beach. It’s an Orange Beach ordinance not the rental property’s. Wish I would’ve known though….

Great Stay

Family took a last minute trip. I looked through many places available and decided on this Summerhouse condo. I am so glad I did! It was a clean, nicely decorated, great location place. Julie was wonderful to deal with- very quick to respond. Communication was really clear. Condo had good supplies ( even enough toiletries for the 3 nights). Only minor disappointment was the ‘basketball’ area. It was across the busy street and looked abandoned ( not sure if balls were even supplied). Not a big issue, we just spent all of our time on the beach which is why we came.

Family Vacay.

First off, the property manager Julie was a complete Rockstar! The house was in THE perfect location, had easy access to the beach, was clean, had some books and a puzzle, and had all the amenities, perfect starter package of supplies were available also. The balcony view is gorgeous and my grandson’s favorite was the hot tub and indoor pool. His dad got stung by a huge jellyfish and that was it for him and the beach. Hahaha. He said it was his best vacation yet even after the jellyfish mishap. I’ve rented here before and will definitely be back. It should be noted they are freshening up the building right now, but it didn’t interfere with our time there. Can’t wait to see it when it’s done. The AC was amazing so bring a couple of throw blankets for the sofa. Our family made some great memories here, hope yours does too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time while we were in Orange Beach! The condo was updated and clean when we got there and it was very comfortable. It had great tvs and comfortable couches. The mattresses were great too!! Seriously, I have been to a lot of VRBOs that are not as great as the pictures, but this one is exactly the same. The management company was awesome-- they promptly replied to any questions we had and used text which worked well for us. The only* 2 problems were that one of the elevators was broken and that made long lines of people waiting and because they are doing construction, we sometimes had to park across the street. This wouldn't have been an issue except the road is super busy. Other than these things, the vacation was great

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo wasn’t laid out for spacious room. The bathrooms were very small and only one person could actually get in there at one time. The thing that bothered me the most though was the fact that you had to have a key to get in the door and the door was boarded up with metal. Years I guess where somebody tried to break in. I don’t know. The updates wouldn’t be very costly so I think they should be taken care of. They were also working on the condo so it was very inconvenient going in and out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay in SH804A. The unit had very comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and updated furniture. The pools were a little colder than I thought they would be in October but beach was warm. The only items I would note on this unit is ice maker is slow making ice so if you have a whole family you might need a bag of ice and there are few paint touch ups that need to be made. Overall great stay and we would definitely stay again. The best thing was the customer service offered by Signature Properties. I had forgotten my laptop charger and had to get one shipped. Julie offered to have it delivered to her house to ensure delivery! That's customer service!

It was perfect for dolphin watching in the morning. The condo and entire property was clean and even better than pictured. The living room furniture is updated with a nice sectional sofa and plenty of seating for our group of eight. The beds are comfortable and the update of two queen beds (rather than 2 twins as pictured) in the guestroom helped to give everyone a good place to sleep. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook most of our meals in the condo. Julie, with Signature Properties was so helpful and went above and beyond to answer questions and help with a couple special requests. The pool is large with plenty of room for everyone. And the beach is just a short walk down the boardwalk. We would definitely love to stay at this property again!

Nice Place to stay in Orange Beach

The condo itself was very large, clean, and nice. Beds very comfortable and plenty of towels which normally are never enough :). Owners were great, communication great as well. For the overall property, buildings show some age and lack of upkeep. Elevator in our building A broke the day we arrived, took 20 minutes waiting in line with all our belongings to get on. Again, this building is nice just needs some TLC. The Condo itself was beautiful and great. We would stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying here and was a little nervous. There was no need. Lots of positives. All the rooms were perfect for our family. From the boardwalk to the beach wasn't long at all-Perfect if you have little ones. The pool was large and always full at night. We are not pool people so it didn't bother us. Check in and out was so convenient and quick. Another plus was that the neighborhood Walmart was a mile away. The lady we dealt with from Signature Properties was first class and so friendly. There were lots of families so it was very clean. The other renters who stayed at Summer House were so much fun. We will be back to this property next year.
