Walking distance from local bar & grill. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The kitchen has all the amenities of home. Washer and dryer are located in one end of the bathroom. We are only a phone call away should you need anything. No matter if you're visiting family or here working we hope you enjoy your stay.

Cottage on the River

The property looked like it had been recently renovated. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything that you would need. The living room and dining room had an antique flavor that felt very comfortable. Loved the chairs at the dining room table! Nice big TV in the living room. The bathroom was clean and had a little washer & dryer in it. Enjoyed being able to walk out the patio doors in the master bedroom and enjoy the scenic Mississippi river! The only drawback (and it was a big one) The beds were terribly uncomfortable. We actually left 1 night early because we could not sleep on those mattresses one more night. Our stay would have been perfect otherwise.

Mother’s Day Trip

Visiting family nearby for Mother’s Day. Cute, cozy, clean little house with a big deck and view of the river from the master bedroom. Quiet neighborhood. Mindi responds quickly if you have questions or need anything. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nice and Clean Cottage!

Everything was wonderful! We could look out the back door and see the river. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. I grew up in Oquawka, moved away years ago but came back for an annual family reunion over the weekend. Will book again in the future!! Mindi is an excellent host, fast responses to any questions and friendly.

Cottage extra-ordinary!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay highlighted by a clean house and comfortable beds with a well stocked kitchen for our long weekend in Henderson County. Mindi was very responsive and speedy checkin. Cottage located within sight of the Mississippi and we watched boat traffic easily. We would easily stay again.
